    KGuard Video Loss

Thanks for the advice; my friendly Computer expert has looked at everything and detemined that the power supply (the KGuard supply and the new one that I brought from Maplin) just wasn't 'man enough' (their words, not mine). I've brought another power supply (3 amp) quite cheaply, and it's all up and running. I'm still puzzled as to why the KGuard plug wasn't working correctly; do they lose their power/influence? I don't know. If anybody else has similar problems, please strongly consider the power supply no matter how new it might be, and no matter whether or not it came in the original package. Thanks again, Chris W.

    KGuard Video Loss

I really don't know so I've given the whole lot to a business near me that deals with computers and CCTV and asked them to sort it out. They've got all the toys and I'll just have to be guided by what they say. I'll put something on this forum when I get the result. Thanks for your post.

    KGuard Video Loss

Can anybody help please? We have a 4 channel KGuard KG-SHA104 but the cameras all show 'video Loss' on the screen. The HDD worked as there is a small file recorded. The HDD light is constant red, which I believe means it's OK and power gets to the cameras (Maplin tested a camera for me and it showed images in their store). In addition to the four cameras that were supplied, I've brought two additional Sentient cameras with the same result. I've tried the cameras both with the long cables supplied, and without the cables but using a double male BNC to connect to the recorder. Now officially confused and fed up. Thanks
