hi everyone I recently have been asked to fit 12 cameras and one dvr in one premisses and 4 cameras and dvr (two separate jobs for differet people) I am a cctv engineer but i have never work for my own so i have no idea how to price the jobs, can anyone tell me how much do you charde per camera or how do you make a quotes? the 12 cameras job specification: long cable runs, cables inside the walls, 3 floors to cover + 3 cameras outside the 4 cameras job specification: cables fitted on the walls, one floor, middle size room i am looking just for the price fitting the cameras as all the equipment and wires are supplied separatelly I thank in advance for everyone for looking at my post

Hi I have AXIS 2100 IP camera, but I do not know how to install it, basicly the software I do not know how to set the IP address for the camera and even the AXIS IP UTILITY software does not work. I do not know too much about IP networks and I do not know where to find my SERVER IP ADDRESS and MY PC IP ADDRESS. I have tried many options and once I managed to make a camera working but then I did not have internet and when I tried to write as www address i could not get through and the only I saw was the camera picture on my all 3 laptops in my local home network which is BT home hub and 3 laptops, please hel me to install this hardware

hi! I just wonder which of these two 1/3" and 1/4" CCD matrix is better and what actually is the difference between them? what are theyr deffects and advantages? anyone knows?

hi everybody,I just wonder how does the 8 channel dvr/ splitter work, does it split a screen to 8 viewing areas (like 9ch and 16ch do) or split it to 4 and then another 4 comes sequently after preser time? please help as i'm considering buying one for my 7 cameras cctv system. thanks

thanks but i still do not know howw it works, i am looking for the information in which way it splits the screen (8ch one) does it split a screen to 8 viewing areas 2x4 or maybe splits to 9 viewing areas but use 8 only??? this is my question, many thanks

at the moment just a general question as i am curious about 8ch one how it operates, have you seen any ???
