    Hi Rory, The card was purchased via HikVision out of NY. The software is windows based with server and client. I'm not going to install the client until the server side gets more stable. I'll look at the chance-I web site to see if something clicks. Thanks, Dan

    We'll the compression is great, but the tech help hasn't responded to my verbal abuse with documentation in the last two weeks. I do software QA and this product would never get close to production. It's not web base but looks like it was build with VB scripting.

    I would like to know if someone else is having problems with Aventure Technologies software for the H264 DVR card. The software is limited with documentation and being a newbie to the CCTV world could use some help. The software appears to be flaky on startup. Sometimes it display control buttons other times it doesn't. Sometimes it reboots itself for no reason. Also not sure how to use the sensors correctly since the instructions are slim. I think they have a good product but if I can't use the software it's kind of a waste of money. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
