  1. I looked at the spec sheet for the WV-NP502, didn't see anything about image stabilization it does quote Progressive scan ensures clear images with less motion blur and no tearing even when the subject is moving Not sure that this is the same thing. I want the image to be steady when the camera is moving.
  2. I've got a Pelco IX10DN network camera with a very long focal length lens. Currently the video is viewed on a PC with Quicktime. I would like to be able to remove the "shake" when the lens is zoomed in. Is there a plugin available for quicktime to do this in real time? Or is there other software available to do this?
  3. As I stated in the post, I'm looking for a decoder. The camera does the encoding.
  4. I have a new Pelco Sarix camera which is currently connected to a PC which decodes the H.264 video and outputs to a monitor. I would like to replace the PC with a dedicated decoder. The only ones I have found are either designed to work with a specific camera or do not support the resoulution and frame rate of my camera (1280 x 720, 30 ips). Does anyone make a dedicated decoder that will work in this situation? I'm thinking that it would be more reliable than a PC (hopefully no reboots). If not, my next choice would be to use a small pc running Linux. It's hard to find one with enough power to decode high res video though.

    Monitor question

Does anyone know if there are any large (approx. 27") standard aspect ratio digital monitors available? It could be CRT or LCD, but I don't have room for widescreen.

    Zoom lens recommendations

I am looking to install an IP camera with a long focal length zoom lens. The only megapixel rated zoom lens I have found is the Fujinon D32 with a 320mm max focal length. It is listed as 1.3MP resolution. Does anyone know of any other alternatives?
