In my opinion it is problem with Motherboard, once Dell´s motherboard isn´t compatible with Geovision´s card. Try to install the board in anoher PC with Chipset Intel Regards,

About the Chipset VIA that you were using... It´s incompatible with any Geovision Board. About video lost, the problem can be software´s version. Witch are your hardware´s version ?

You have to check the hardware version of the boards... If them had the same number (eg: V3.30, V3.51) you can run the same software, just replace the board and try to use the same slot pci Regards

I runned 2 GV 800 PCI with V8.3 version. Works very well, but it has some bugs with remote access.. I think it will be fixed in the official version !

Geovision version 8.3 will be relesed in May. At lest here in Brazil.
