here is some updated pics here is a pic with a dark overcast here is one with extreme light and dark areas. Notice no bleached/washed out areas I was extremely suprised that it was able to get a shot under this lighting conditions. This is as close to pitch dark as it comes. No IR's. and a shot with the help of a mace's IR's. Ok now for comparison lets look at what the mace cam 68 looks like. Notice the quality settings and the bit rate required for that setting. Then go back to the quality settings of the 484 and look at that bit rate.... ouch

I am about to finalize a job for a hospital and I think they are going to go with 30 of the wv-cw964's. They are expensive but this hospital says they want the best.

i dont think that is a good comparison for me. Because if "I" was doing the install for myself then I wwould want good equipment but would not do as good of a job with securing wire and faceplates and all that jazz. Just kidding

I use use cat 5 for my LAN. When I moved in I put two runs per room. So dont use my wireless in my house unless I get really lazy and dont want to plug into the wall, at that point I have 7 signals to choose from.

yep, I see people on here try other types of cameras. Not saying they should not. In the instance of someone wanting a LPR I wont use anything but an extreme LPR. Other companys around here will believe it or not point a low end camera at the general area and tell the person it will get license plates and also be able to tell what the car looked like and maybe even the person face!!! seriously.

is he not wanting to do it because he does not want to run wire? Becuase man if their is existing wire unless it is secured along a beam really tight or something than that is a breeze. Just tie/secure his new wire to the end of his old wire and pull from the other side. (pull wire).

after installing 5 what is your take on the icrealtime pro dvr's. Especially after you push so much other products. What is your customers take also

exactly, what it comes down to is not the best specs available. its the best specs available at a price and reliabilty that you are able to sell them.

in january after an install I was helping this guy get his 2 computers up and running on the network and we went thru a total of 2 bad routers. With my nature of trying to fix things that dont work I wasted alot of time when it was a bad router. The 3rd one worked like a charm the first time I configured it and have not had any problems since.

ya know talk is cheap and heard alot of talk. And my opinions and rorys and kandcorps and any other "professionals" opinion really does not matter. We can sit here and debate this all day and not make a dime more while we do it. Who's opinion that matters is the person who signs the checks of the people who have recieved our proposals. Ya know I am sure that someone could build a 50,000 dollar machine and blow alll of ours out of the water. And then they would win, right? wrong because we cant sell 50,000 dollar machines to our prospects. So when it is all said and argued and this is still up in the air, who can move the most product? Having the capapbily to be a dealer of a machine wont do you much of good if you cant get people to buy them. So it comes down to Whats The Best Product for what your prospects will say yes at the table for. Man I know for me I sold 11 pro dvr systems without them ever seeing the actual machine. Just saw the remote viewing features and ability to do what fits their needs. That works for me. How are those geovision in comparison to how easily you can sell the average joe on them? I am talking the comparible geovision not the bottom of the dirt barrrel. And today confirmed 9 more systems ( 4 4 channel systems and 3 8 and 1 16) . If I can keep selling and installing that much solelly based off the way the customers feel of its value, then I will be doing good.

I did not watch every single one of them but I did watch most of them. Just about every single one to me looked slightly grainy especially the black guy at the bar. The only one that looked clean and crisp was the one from rory and the extreme in his front drive way. That one looked pretty good. This is no special event just an extremely dark situation with but what else my favortire the 484 (thats what my personall system consist of).
