I have a friend that is a manager at the palace station. He got me a sweet deal on one of their best rooms in the tower. I will ask him if he can get us like a private business room or meeting room for us all to meet at.

ya you can get several different brands of domes that have a 3 axis mounting. I actually just did a job where we mounted 6 V.P.D on the wall and they all looked down the walls side. That is definitly your answer

its not just the h.264 compression. Its the muscles in the dvr. Take a look at all the comonents it has. You wont think your time will be waisted. Also do some research on the black fin adi processers. Very interesting

here is a video I have to go to court for on the 15th. These girls turned down a plea bargan of 10 years. So if they get a guilty verdict they will do a pretty good amount of time. http://arksurveillance.com/hostvids/hifash1theft.mp4

Jasper, Here is a quick video. This is no special event. Just a video I pulled real quick to let you see. We have been having real bad winds here the past couple of days. So watch the tree's sway and you will also hear a loud annoying screeching. That is the rusty spinning attic vents on top of my neighbors house. You will see me pull in at about 4:54 and I made sure that the neighbors were not home and got up there and unloaded some wd40 and oil lubricant on them and they completely stop. (That part was not on video). Cant disclose any video that could be used against me. http://arksurveillance.com/hostvids/icfrontvideo

man why dont yoiu just hook up a wiper to a motor and wire that back to the appropriate power supply and then hook it up to a relay and a timer like the appliance timers that will turn lights on and off during certain times and days. That would very simple.

If I was you and you want a good quality shot of that area is put a panasonic SDIII 484 looking at that location with the cars. There are not many cameras that can produce a clean, crisp, very well distributing of the light available. It is hard for me to judge the actual level of light that was out their that night of the video, It looks like it has a street light across the street. There is plenty of light (looks like) for the panasonic 484 would give a perfect shot.

In no way am I trying to sound like a jerk or be a party pooper. Just my personal opinion on it. So with that said: it caught the action of the thief but seemed like to me it was in no way effective for any type of evidence that would tie that person to the crime. criminals around here would come right back knowing especially that any identifiable features would be discarded by the system.

My ICrealtime Realtime review I have been holding off on giving my review and waiting until I was able to get a good list of both pros and cons. (You know me, I am not afraid to say what I truly think about a product). That is what I like and use this forum for. Not to sell something or help my business. But to share ideas, experiences, and product reviews and results. So here is my personal view good and bad. Setup and Network Worked with no problem. No confusion. And no software issues. Hooking it up to any monitor was absolutly fantastic. Hooking it up to my office flat screen to the vga input was like no other machines ability to create image quality seemingly from the future. So many features and abilitys available that everyone would be pleased. Even the hard to please. (no names mentioned) So many upgrades and better/easier things within that its hard to find anything that this machine not only doesnt do but doesnt do better than other machines in some shape or form. I kept trying to locate the minus side of the machine and found myself finding more and more +'s every single time I searched for the negatives. Anyone who has an average thought or review about it I would say did not actaully get to test it out and what it could do. Which if you are not prepared and not shown is easily to do. Because most dvrs all have the same "features". But when you really get down to putting the machine under a microscope you will see a full blown entertaining fascinating experience within a product (dvr's) you have seen duplicated and sold by just about every single company name under the sun. But all other dvrs can not match the way this one records, no wait...........rips through the whole concept of video recording and playback. Almost converging in the market of High quality cinematic movie making. Ok my weak scraped up cons. The only ones I could produce. -The fact you cant change ptz settings and order of calls. -The loggin in to each channel (which is really worth considering the alternative......which is not having the quality video on each channel -the fact that I cant get them for free (hey I had to give atleast 3 cons.) Overall you would be fool to say you have a dvr that performs better and/or is a better value. Even if you have a dvr that is 1/2 the price I dont care what it does or does not do, you cant beat the value and performance for what that machine cost. If you cant validate the machines price point in the value that it provides then you need to do some surfing over to a place like "selling for dummies". And so ends my review. bold??? YES, it was. I now only feel bad because I feel like I am ripping the my biggest client because of a law to that requires that they "buy american" and that we have to provide inferior pelco dx8000 machines. What a rip off.

I would definitly have to say one of those thermal imaging cameras that i recently got to play with that some of you guys saw. That was by far the coolest thing i have got to see in my job yet. And then some of the pelco positioning series ptz that can zoom 2+ miles. Those were pretty fun to play with. Oh the government toys. Well like you said "if money was no option". They buy the fun stuff

Does anyone have an image from a zoom camera with it at wide angle and then 22x optical zoomed in shot that I can use to show a person I am trying to close? Would be greatly appreciated.

I would make people fax or email in a copy of their business license. And then also follow up with a call to that business by their number associated with the business by way off directory. Ask to speak with a manager and then ask if that person is who they say they are. You cant 100% prove it all the time but you can get pretty dang close. n

Ok, I got my ICrealtime DVR online. PM me and get the ip and pass. -
I will be looking for companys and products in the whole Network Integratation of Access Control, Alarm, and Video. Looking for the best interface and who's has the most efficent. I am gettting alot more need for that over here. I have already a bunch of meetings scheduled with several company's. I like the fact you can shedule your whole day and booth visits and everything like that on the isc connections web utility. Make the most of your time.

oh definitly screw terminals. Those spring loaded are a pain and are something I would LOVE TO NEVER see again. Screws stay good. Those spring terminals are alot easier for the wire to come out. I once saw the whole plastic holder for the 2 inputs come loose over time and kept making the camera come on and off. It was something my foreman tried to troubleshoot for like 6 hours before I brought him a new camera and replaced it with the one in the housing and later at the shop found out it was that. Piece of crap.

yep, Its a good thing I have a screen name to hide who I really am.... No really if I speak I only speak the truth. I just wont say something or respond to something if I cant say what is the way I really feel about it. Thats really one of the pros and cons of not using a screen name.

Mace Cameras #1 #2 #3 panasonic camera feeding of the IR's of the 2nd mace camera #4 the mace is cams will record non stop at night while on motion detection recording. The panasonic ONLY records when some one or something is actually moving out there at night. AGC needs a good DNR. Agreed?
