RT'S are the phone companys way to provide dsl service to customers that are to far from the Central office. Remote terminals pretty much act like a bunch of CO's so that customers can be far away from the CO and still have dsl service that is not 1kb a second

ya I know he is going to try to get this video thrown out of court. Nothing I can do about that. I can answer any questions about the system without a problem. about the motion detection. Actually when we first set this system up for the first couple of months all cameras were recording all the time. So there was no motion detection in this case. I actually think he wont take it to court. Because I just found out that he has not even seen or known about the video until today sometime. So he has taken this case thinking that all this was people saying they stole it without video. I am pretty sure once they see the video that they will change their plea. Especially the attorney will re think it because he wont want to loose his first case. We will see. I would love to get a guilty verdict and get great publicity because of it. But in a normal situation I would care less and would charge my client to actually show up. So either way it will be an interesting case. And will definitly keep you guys informed.

Does anyone know of a free mpeg4 to avi converter. I have to go to court for a very important case that involves a very high profile attorney around here that does not do cases for less than 20,000. And has never lost a case (not yet). But I have a mpeg4 video I need to convert to avi to play on wmp. Anyone know of one?

need tamperproof screw bit for panasonic 474 dome
jisaac replied to sf1964's topic in Security Cameras
man its the same type of bit used for all the vandal proof domes. you can find them everywhere. ill give you a word of advice. do not use a powered drill when screwing those things on because you will break the screw and strip the inside before you even know what happeaned. made that mistake once -
ya i wish you could access it from the dvr. I am starting to think about going to cameras with protocols just for that reason right there

What? Meth labs in arkansas? Never! And they have cameras?
jisaac replied to jisaac's topic in Test Bench
arkansas is one of the largest bust per state. And we only have 2.4 million here. Ya in my old neighborhood this guy across the street from me got busted twice within 3 months. And then there was a a bust 8 houses down from me. I was like dang! I mean it's not like it was a bad neighborhood. -

Oh ya according to this sheriff deputy if you have cameras on your house then you must be a junkie! http://www.kthv.com/news/search/results.aspx?storyid=23384 funny thing is she actually called me and asked me that same question. I told her we dont sell a camera out right. We install them. And we dont install a camera for less than 500 a piece. I thought her reaction was pretty strange. now i know why when i see her saying radioshack sells one for $20. I bet thats one of those "high resolution, ptz, night vision, thermal imaging" cameras everyone always says they can get when I make them do a back flip in there seat when I tell them the price for 1 camera. I hate people like that. I tell them go ahead. You get what you pay for. and I am always right. ( about that) -
this one is even more funny want to know what it is like to win the lottery? This guy did. For a few minutes http://ebaumsworld.com/2006/01/fakelotto.html

Verifact A quality isses:upgrade question
jisaac replied to LIAMG's topic in General Digital Discussion
what kind of compression is the audio recorded as? Can you adjust it? I know those older sanyo dvrs (2-3 years) really did not have any quality much less with audio. But I am not sure if yours goes back that far as those dvr's i saw did. But Check the compression. Check adjustments 8 all the way probably up to 32khz -

if you give me until the later part in the day I will look and see what we used. Off hand i have no clue what we used -
ok now as we talked about this in one post the way this is wired is never how i would hook up cameras on a job site. But for ease, accessibilty, and ability to swap out you will see these done like we fired someone for if they did it in the real world. ( hints as to why this is on the back of my house and not on our office)
-
In order for it to be fair comparison you are going to have to test the cameras under the exact same conditions. Facing the exact same thing. At the exact same time. I recentlly came to that conclusion. You should see the back of my house. Wait i will take a picture and post it.
