  1. Hi Mates I have to deploy 11(eleven) nos of Arecont vison AV8185DN cameras with Milestone. Since these are multiple lens cameras, how many Milestone Camera licenses would I need If single license per camera is required, I can use Milestone XProtect Essential If I need to consider multiple license per camera, then I would need to spend for XProtect Express Please Advise Cheers
  2. Hi guys Thanks for the responses. The site in question is part of the govenrment education system and the cited audio requirement has been raised by the local governance body. So I suppose the legal legitimacy of it will take a back seat. Please advise me on options i could resort to Thanks CP
  3. Hi Mates I was working for providing an IP camera system for a university campus. There are over 300 cameras requried in this system. We were planning to go with arecont vision cameras. and all the requried camera specs could be met using arecont vision. Now the client has come up with the requriement of 2 way audio also to be integrated into the camera system. I have my worries if audio integration would come out useful in such an environment. Well... you know how clients are.... Unfortunately.. Arecont vision do not offer this feature. Axis and Mobotix can offer this. But, they cannot match all the camera specs requriement. What are the options that i could use while staying with Arecont vision cameras. Please advise Cheers CP
  4. Thank you so much mates. After searching the net I had sent enquiries to 2 companies. I had sent enquiries for the following products http://ascendentdvr.com/ptz/10km-ir-ptz-laser.html http://www.cohu-cameras.com/products/vidcams/8800.html waiting for their quotes. I shall also check out the alternatives you guys have suggested. Rgds CP
  5. Hi mates I am looking for a security camera which can view up to a distance of 6km with day/night viewing capability. The view should help detection and is not intended for identification. Could you guys suggest any product that can serve our requirement Regards CP
  6. Hi Mates We have at hand a CCTV project which would need cable run of over 600 meters. I dont think fibre optics would not be possible considering the cost factor. what is the maximum distance I can have a cable run using RG11 coaxial cable. What are options of using video amplifiers along with RG11 so that we could get video signals without loss. Thanks & Regards CP
