    POE NVR connecting Wi-Fi cameras

ONVIF? What camera is that? 80 is probably not the right port to be using.

    ds-7216hv-st firmware

What version and build date do you have?

    POE NVR connecting Wi-Fi cameras

You just have to edit the cameras and add them by hand, with IP, port, user & password. If the IP is on the 192.168.254.x subnet the NVR will look for them on the integrated POE switch. If the IP is on the 192.168.1.x subnet it will look for them over the LAN port.
  4. Use the main stream, not the sub stream.
  5. DS-7608N-I2 is a chinese model. I do not know where you are from, but unless you are from China, Hikvision will not give you any support on that unit. You will have to look for a chinese firmware and "hack" it to english. I would try to contact whoever sold you that unit and see if they can send you the firmware.

    Hikvision DDNS errors

I have over 300. I am not aware of any problems.

    Hikvision DDNS errors

I use it daily and haven't had any problems. What continent are you from? Are you aware that now you need to be using your continent hik-online server? When hik-online started you always used www.hik-online.com as the server, but currently you need to be using a server depending on where you are from (like, eudev.hik-online.com) for Europe. With newer firmwares you get dropdown menu to choose your continent and country; with old firmwares, you need to replace the default server (www.hik-online.com) for the one you are supposed to be using.
  8. Keep using Internet Explorer. Do NOT use Edge on Windows 10.
  9. Where are you from? You need to use the hik-online server given to your continent/country. For example, in Europe we have to use eudev.hik-online.com
  10. You have to forward/open the HTTP ports on your router. To see if you have the open port working, you can use: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ And the Quickddns will usually NOT work from inside the network where the DVR is installed (unless your router has NAT loopback, which is not common).
  11. Try to uninstall the plugin and let the NVR install the version it needs. Go to "program files" and "program files (x86)" folders and delete any "webrec" folder you might have there. Close all browsers. Open "Internet Explorer" (NOT Edge), connect to the NVR, and let it download and install the plugin it needs.
  12. Use a HTTP port different than 80. You are actually accessing your router, and not the DVR or quickddns.
  13. Maybe you should get a better computer. Or ask for support from whoever sold you your system. H4200 seems to be a Samsung TV, so it would hard for anyone to help you with the little information you provide.

    Dahua NVR3104 firmware upgrade

Do not upgrade. You do not know what you are doing, and upgrading with the wrong firmware will brick your NVR. So unless you have a very good reason for upgrading, and you know you are using the correct firmware, just leave it as it is.
  15. Playback or live view? Main stream or sub stream? What resolutions and bitrate? You can do up to 64ch live view with iVMS-4200 and a computer that is up to the specs needed. Make sure you use the sub streams.
  16. You would need to make a complete network map of how your computer, DVRs and IP cameras are connected. You probably have a bottleneck somewhere on your network. Make sure you are seeing main styream or substream depending on how many cameras you want to see at the same time. Want to know if the computer is up to the task? Use a network cable to connect the computer direct to just one of the DVRs (yes, that will disconnect temporarily the IP cameras).

  18. 1080N is 960x1080. A DVR that supports 1080N can actually recognise video from 2MP cameras, but it can only record it at 1MP. Normal 1080P resolution would be 1920x1080. These units can understand 1080P cameras, but they will only record half the columns (960 instead of 1920). I have never seen 1080H or 1080NH.
  19. You do not use RTSP or web port with iVMS-4500, only data port. And when using HiDDNS you do not even need to put it.
  20. I would say no, they will not. The first link seems to be not working any more.
  21. I do not know if that link is the right one or if the article has changed, but I do not seem to see anything about Hikvision in there.
  22. 3.2 out of 5, from 31 reviews... that seems some crappy system you want to get into.
  23. Audio:1-ch 3.5 mm audio in (Mic in/Line in)/out interface (-S model) It is not built in.
  24. You need to change the ports on one of the units, and do the right port forwarding. Like: NVR1 - web 90 RTSP 554 data 8000 NVR2 - web 91 RTSP 555 data 8001

    Camera support

It is a standard, ONVIF has nothing to do with resolution. 71xx and 72xx do not support ONVIF protocol, so it can only be used with Hikvision cameras, which use Hikvision protocol.
