That manual is for many devices; 71xx, 72xx, 73xx, 81xx and 90xx. As you can see on the image you pasted, ONVIF protocol is not supported on 71xx and 72xx, those units only work with Hikvision IP cameras. DS-2CD2232-I5 will work, but only at 2MP, not 3MP.
-
DS-7208HQHI-SH supports 8 ch analog/HDTVI, plus 2 extra IP channels. The 2 extra IP channels support Hikvision cameras up to 2MP. It will NOT support third party IP cameras, only Hikvision. And it will work with Hikvision IP cameras over 2MP, but you will have to lower the recording resolution to 1920x1080.

Some hints: - Use Windows. - Use Internet Explorer (do not use Edge, or other browsers) - Make sure you have the right plugin. If unsure, go to Program files, search for a "webrec" folder, and delete it. Close all Explorer, open and try again. If you are unable to get it working from a web browser, you can always use Smart PSS.

Dahua IPC-EBW81200 SMTP mail with wrong reception hour
Securame replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
So the time on live view is OK, but on the email (headers) is still wrong? Leave NTP enabled, why would you NOT want to use it? -

Securame replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Date/clock on the camera OSD display should change, if the camera shows a wrong time, it is not strange that the messages also have the wrong time... Check if you have NTP configured on the camera, it might help. -
Camera Software Options
Securame replied to fitzie's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
This can be done with all current Hikvision DVR/NVRs, it has been there for a while; but I think it can only be done from the unit itself, with monitor and mouse connected. The option is surely not there when accessing remotely from a web browser, and I think iVMS-4200 also does not have it. -

This is the timestamp from the server: Received: from xxx.141-xxx-91.adsl-dyn.isp.xxx.be (HELO localhost_GNT) ([91.xxx.141.xxx]) by relay.xxx.xxxwith ESMTP/TLS/DHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384; 07 Oct 2016 05:28:49 +0200 This is the timestamp on the email: Date: Fri, 07 Oct 16 05:28:54 +0800 And this is on the body message: Alarm Start Time(D/M/Y H:M:S): 07/10/2016 05:28:54 I think +0800 is China? Are you sure you have changed the timezone on the camera? I would send a message to myself using my email client and compare. -
HD-CVI / HD-CVI Locked to Reseller's equipment
Securame replied to Liquid_Squelch's topic in System Design
That can't be possible. -
It has analog output. But it will work as analog, not HD.
-
It will work if you get HD cameras that can also output analog video, some cameras have two BNC connectors (one HD, one analog), some cameras have a switch to choose the system (4 in 1 cameras can be switch between analog/TVI/CVI/AHD), etc. A camera that is only HD will NOT work with an analog DVR.

Dahua analog autotracking PTZ
Securame replied to Joe Ramzi's topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
If you have an analog camera, it needs the RS485 bus. If you have an HDCVI camera, it does not. In fact if you have HDCVI DVR and HDCVI camera it is quite easy to access the menus. You have not even stated what camera you have, so who knows. -
Dahua analog autotracking PTZ

How about reading the manual? Do you even have a joystick working with i and/or the RS485 connection in place? For using the OSD Menus you will have to call a preset. -
Is that from lan or remote? If remote, do you have the RTSP port open?
-
Cool, I did not know they made the 16ch model now. From my experience; NO, it will make it worse. When using HDCVI/HDTVI 1080p over long runs, I think a good coaxial cable is better than any good Cat6 cable with baluns. I have no idea on how the cameras are spread, but with those distances maybe I would have put several 4ch/8ch HDTVI DVRs, and then used a main NVR to record all the feeds. But the planning needs to be done before doing the project... Post pictures of cables/connections.
-
500m is a long distance, but it SHOULD be doable with good quality cable. Even with HDTVI 1080p. Make sure what DVR you have; I think there is no such thing as a 7216HQHI (only 4ch and 8ch for the HQHI series). Post pictures of cables/connections.

There has never been a way to disable that led. I think that led can not even be seen when the camera is mounted, only when you have it without cover. Here is something that might work
-
You mean the IR leds? Just change the day/night mode from "Auto" to "Day". That way the IR will always be off; keep in mind that without leds, you will NOT have night vision.
-
It is possible with an NVR with alarm inputs/outputs.

New Hikvision DS-2CD2042WD-I can't get it to work at all.
Securame replied to camerapalooza's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Do the leds on the camera turn on at any time during boot? After a while pluged in, if you turn off the lights do the leds turn on? Are there any visible signs that the camera is actually powered up? -
Are your cameras on a place with enough light to work in day mode? Maybe they are just in night mode. Check if the IR on the cameras are turned on.

Hikvision IP camera, Does the serial No. refer to the Region
Securame replied to tomo_76's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
The CCWR there says it is an export market camera, not a chinese/local market camera (CCCH). You are good! -
Check your DVR network configuration settings, you will see what ports it is using there.
-
I would go for the power supply. I have seen many of them fail, mostly on low end DVRs, they cut so many corners to get a cheap product on the market... The power supplies over time loose eficiency, and the first thing that will fail is the hard drive. Check out your power supply, it will probably be something like 12V 2A. Get another one, it might even be is with a few extra A.
