Hikvision NVR DS-7716 HDMI output not good picture
Securame replied to bentech's topic in Computers/Networking
I don't know what you are pointing at in the screenshot, but I do not seem to find anything wrong with it... -
I can't log into dahua dvr (p2p) from external network.
Securame replied to mahmoud hamza's topic in Digital Video Recorders
And can you log in with P2P from the internal network? -
To be able to download from IE, run it as administrator (right click IE shortcut, choose "run as administrator"). Easiest way out; use iVMS-4200.

HIKVISION not working over long POE
Securame replied to Pixie's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
That should work. I have actually used up to 300m of 24AWG copper Cat6 cable (which is not adviseable, but it can work). It seems that the data is fine, but maybe not the power. I would test powering the camera with a 12V power supply. And I would also test with the laptop, but connected to one of the POE ports on the NVR. You can assing yourself a fixed IP on the IP cameras range, and you should be able to connect to the other cameras already connected to the POE ports. -

It might not be that much "premium". Do you know the cable specifications? Material and AWG. -
Hikvision DS-7616NI-E2/16P Frame Rate At 1080p W/ 8 Cameras?
Securame replied to Finch2's topic in System Design
No idea where you got that from, but those are probably the live view/decoding specs. If you split the live view monitor in 16 (4x4) you will need to have the substream on your cameras at 4CIF; the main stream recording will not be affected. DS-7616NI-E2/16P can do 16 channels 1920x1080 at 25fps each channel. In fact, mthe encoding is done on the camera, not on the NVR, so it is the camera the one who has to be able to deliver 25fps at 1080p. I think the DS-7616NI-E2/16P supports up to 5Mp or 6Mp. -
cctv cameras not working on dvr floureon
Securame replied to doom's topic in General Digital Discussion
The new DVR is analog only, so any HD cameras, which your previos cameras most likely are, will not work with it (AHD, HDTVI, HDCVI, etc). -
IP address clashes
Securame replied to user27's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Chinese cameras, chinese texts, which your computer does not support, so it shows those ?????. If the camera has english you might be able to find it on the setup menus, but you will have to navigate through all the options. -
IP address clashes
Securame replied to user27's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
There's no way that you will be able to use both cameras at the same time until you change their IP. You can not have two devices on the network with the same IP address. You need a windows computer to use the cameras, and probably Internet Explorer. The "plugin not supported" message is because you are trying to connect to the cameras from Android. -
That is an IP camera. You need to access it with a computer/web browser.

Got remote access to NVR but no video stream ?
Securame replied to coralreef's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Make 5050 TCP+UDP. You also need to forward 554, that is for video streaming, and to make sure I would also forward 1935. When in doubt, make them always TCP+UDP. -

Securame replied to coralreef's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
No way to know then what ports it uses, check the network config section on the NVR. There's probably more than just two ports. -

Securame replied to coralreef's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Probably the RTSP port; check the ports that your NVRs uses (you do not even say what NVR you have, so it is hard to guess). -
I would go for 20A to be safe. The information you give is not enough, you need to take into account what is the power draw on each camera, what is the cable length, what cable you are using, etc. It is always better to go higher!

Motion Detection Push Notifications
Securame replied to dollerprod's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
It is a PUSH NOTIFICATION! You can also use email if you want. Yes, you will get the notification even with the app not running. PIR = real movement detector, and not video detection. -
Motion Detection Push Notifications
Securame replied to dollerprod's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
The Foscam C1 does have push notifications; it even has a real PIR on the camera. So for that price, it is not a bad purchase. You can get a push notification on motion detection, audio alert, or PIR alert. It is not THAT bad. -
Are we supposed to just guess what DVR you have? That microphone should do the job, if installed/connected/configured/used properly.
-
Why would you go for an analog camera (960x576 maximum recording resolution) when you have a DVR that supports up to 2Mp (1920x1080)? I would keep looking for at least a 1080p camera.

Cloud Backup for a NVR Beginner
Securame replied to weebs's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
If your recorder geting stolen won't allow you to sleep; the easieast router is to have two NVRs in the house, one in plain sight, the other one well hidden. You can record all the cameras on both NVRs, if someone breaks in your house and steals the NVR, he won't bother lookinf for another one. Yes, you can store the video somehwere else too using the internet connection, but you would need a very good connection at home with enough bandwidth to handle all the video streams; and another one in your host/wherever you want to keep your backups. -
HOW TO HARD RESET HIKVISION DVR DS-7200?
Securame replied to jc_james03's topic in Digital Video Recorders
There is no thing as a "hard reset" on that unit. What is the problem you have with it, lost admin password? -
Check out the box your DVR came in, you will have a connector similar to this one:
-
If you messed up with the firmware and installed a wrong one, you can restore the correct one using TFTP.

Four ports, by default they are 80/1024/37777/37778.
