  1. That's not an issue, so I doubt nothing at all will be addressed. You are just asking for a feature that they do not offer.
  2. You can go for a hybrid system. Hikvision and Dahua both have 16ch analog + 16ch IP systems, and I am sure there must be more. Hikvision DS-7616HI-ST comes to mind. http://www.hikvision.com/Es/products.asp?cid=29 You could also look for a 32ch HDTVI unit, or 32ch HDCVI universal (you would need to make sure it supports analog), but I do not know if there are any.
  3. That would mean that the NVR would have to decode the video, and reencode it again at a different resolution/fps/bitrate/etc. No, can't be done, you are watching a recorded video, you can only watch it at the resolution you recorded it. In that aspect Dahua is nicer, since it allows you to record both the main and substream.
  4. I stand but what I said on my first post. What makes you think it is copper? If you buy aluminum braid, why would you give you copper braid, which is more expensive? Don't think so. And the bride only has 48x0.12? The cable we use the most has a 112x0.12mm braid. Buy on the cheap, get cheap results. You purchased the cheapest kit you found around, and then you purchased the cheapest cable you found around. You want better quality? Get better components.

    Dahua Zoom Motorized

Of course it is possible, in fact that's the way it works. The lens will not move, unless you tell it to do so...

    lager hdd not stabilze ???

What DVRs, and what HDs? I do not remember ever having a problem with 4Tb HDs, we only use WD Purple 4Tb now, with Hikvision and Dahua DVRs/NVRs.
  7. If you do know how to network; just run a network cable from the NVR to your computer, and configure that second network on a different subnet as your main network (like, 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x). Also, configure the network on your NVR to the same subnet.
  8. Your problems seem to have little to do with Dahua. It just seems a case of crappy power supply and/or crappy cabling. HCVR5104 only allowed 720p@25fps, HCVR5104-V2 also allows 1080p@12fps. Check your encode config, if you can set it at 1080p, it is V2.
  9. If Qihan's app has problema with Lollipop 5.1.0, you can wait until they update it, or just downgrade your Nexus 5 back to an older Lollipop version. You could also try to see if you can use a third party app, like IP Cam Viewer Pro.
  10. You need to move the camera away from the wall, so it will not be so bright due to the IR.
  11. 4 port Hikvision NVR. Want to go even cheaper? Stay with the $50 Raspberry and 1HD+3SD streams.

How does P2P Servers for IP Cameras work?

Streams do NOT go through third party servers. That is only used for establishing the connection without the need of port opening, once the connection is established, everything happens the same way as if you were connecting directly through the device.
  13. Does your firmware actually support Ezviz? Do you have the "platform access" section on the network configuration? Make screenshots on what problem you are having.

    I/O alarms

Some Hikvision cameras do have alarm inputs; you might want to change the cameras you have on those spots for another model that has alarm input, so you can connect the PIR to the camera, instead of needing to run the cable all the way to the NVR.
  15. As I already told you on another thread, the 888888 account never works from network; it is only for local use, with monitor and mouse connected to the device. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=45848 Try it with a new unit, and you will see that the results are the same that on those devices that have been compromised; "the user does not exist".
  16. If you leave your car unlocked and it gets stolen, would you blame the car manufacturer? If not, what makes you think Dahua would be doing anything?
  17. ... - V5.3.0 products cannot be downgraded to lower version models; ... I am not brave enough

How do you make online cameras secure??

The basics: - Change all default passwords, and do not use easy passwords. You might even want to change user names. - Use non default ports. - Open to the world only the needed ports (do not use DMZ). - Configure your systems to email you if there is any failed login attempt. If paranoid: - Lock admin account to a given IP, MAC address, etc. - Only login remotely with limited rights accounts (if you only want to do live view from remote, create an account that only has access to live view). - Check logs once in a while to see what connections there have been. etc.

    HikVision Playback failure

On installation you get to pick what to install. Pick just iVMS-4200 client.

One Hard drives works, two will not?

I would try with another power supply; if possible, find one that is 12V 5A. Are you sure that power supply is the one that came with the unit? 2.5A seems very low for a unit that supports 2 hard drives.

One Hard drives works, two will not?

What power supply are you using with that unit, how many volts/amps?
  22. Been using hik-online/HiDDNS for years, it works great.

    Hacked DVR--Dahua

    Whatever.

    Hacked DVR--Dahua

Dahua's 888888 account is only for local access, it can only be used with a monitor and mouse plugged on the unit. It can not be used from network.

GPS Tracker Detected in my vehicle, what now?

You have not detected anything like you stat on the subject. You just "suspect" there is a tracker. Suggestions? Look for it.
