  1. As Boogieman said, that has nothing to do with your cameras, but with the program you are using. Just an idea (I have not even heard before of GeniusVision); maybe that is a limitation on the demo/free/trial version of the software? There are "Online version failed" errors on your log. Is it possible that the program can not verify online that it is registered, and is running with limitations?
  2. If you really need to do that so much, export the video file to any common format, and google "avi to exe" for ways of making an executable from a video.

    LAN power (low)

" title="Applause" /> Well, 80m for POE is a long cable. You would have trouble geting it to work even with the best Cat6, pure copper AWG23 cable. You might try a better cable, or you will need to use another switch in the middle.

    Avigilon Control Center problem

With iVMS-4500 and your PC you might be accessing your NVR, and not your cameras.

    Avigilon Control Center problem

Are your cameras accessible from the network? Or are they connected to the POE switch on the NVR, and only accessible for the NVR?

    LAN power (low)

What cable are you using? 80m network cable is not a problem if you are not using POE (which you are not).
  7. I think you might have been watching too many James Bond movies.
  8. hahaha I loved the drones and the overlords
  9. 1 - Try changing the power supply. 2 - Try changing the HD. 3 - If none of the above helped, probably it is time to change DVR.

    CCTV lens calculator

You are indded a nerd...! It does work ok also in Libre Office.
  11. On Win7 you might try running IE as administrator; otherwise it might not have access for storing files on whatever directory you are using for downloads. Find IE shortcut on the start menu, right click on it, and "run as administrator". Can't help with Win8, haven't used it.
  12. Mmmmh same happened here with all my Hikvision devices. I tried the "chrome://flags/#enable-npapi" thing, but it didn't do it for me, I had to go with "IE tab". Edit: well, it does seem to work from lan, but not from wan... weird.
  13. You can plug them anywhere in your lan.
  14. You can. I have actually seen baluns specific for HDCVI, I did try them too, but I did not appreciate any difference from a good analog balun.

Ultra Low Light Anolog camera today?

You might want to check if someone near you distributes I-Vision cameras. They manufacture in China and EU (Romania). http://www.ivisioncctv.com/en/index.asp Their Starlight and Moonlight cameras are awesome, I would say they are the best low light-no leds cameras I have seen.
  16. Current DS-7732 units have I think 200mbps incoming bandwidth and 80mbps outgoing bandwidth.
  17. Ok, TalkTalk is your ISP. Make sure you have opened the ports on the right section on the router config, or if there is a DMZ section, try puting your DVRs IP on the DMZ.
  18. Well, if it was working before with the other router, it does have to do with the new router. If it had to do with ISP blocking traffic on the RTSP port (or another one), my guess is that it would have also not worked with the previous router.
  19. Sorry about that, but it was indeed pebcak related Glad you got it sorted out.
  20. Go to http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and check if there are any services listening on those ports, 80, 554 and 8000. Some routers do not like accepting connections on port 80 from the outside, it is a good idea to change it. But iVMS-4500 does not use the web port, so it should actually work anyways with just the ports 554 and 8000 forwarded.
  21. It works every time. Where you say "you can't zoom in", you should be saying "I don't know how to zoom in". This is clearly a case of PEBCAK.

    POE or no POE

It is always better to give them static IPs.

    POE or no POE

We do sell NVRs with integrated POE; but we never use them ourselves in our installations. Always external POE switches.

    TVI Standalone UTC Controller

Hikvision calls it "Hikvision-C", check out the first screenshot. http://www.securamente.com/hdtvi-como-usar-el-osd-en-las-camaras-que-lo-soporten/ With Hikvision DVRs you can access the OSD menus with either "menu" or "iris+". I have actually only used HDTVI with Hikvision units, so I can not tell you about TVT.
