    Hikvision NVR model variations

You do not understand Hikvision models... There is no such thing as a "DS-76" unit. When you hear someone talk about DS-76 series, they mean any unit that has a name like DS-76xx. It might be DS-7604 (4ch), DS-7608 (8ch), DS-7616 (16ch), etc. And after the numbers, you will get some letters. Those letters also mean something, different models on the series (like the P means it has POE ports). So of course you will not find information about "DS-76", because such unit does not exist.

    Hikvision NVR model variations

First one doesn't even say which one they are selling. I would assume the cheapest, which might be DS-7608NI-SE/P. Second one is DS-7608NI-E2/P, even if the picture says DS-7608NI-SE/P.

    Hikvision NVR model variations

So... If I understand right, you are comparing "DS-76 series" against "DS-7608NI-SE/P"? I am sure you must have noticed that "DS-7608NI-SE/P" begins with "DS-76". So you are comparing a given unit, against a series of many units, including itself?
  4. I would not call them "advantages", they are just different ways of operating. I prefer to have IP/ports forwarded and access my devices. But EZVIZ and P2P systems are fine for people that do not want/know how to set up their connections.

    Floureon H.264 No IR-Cut ??

Cheap cameras, cheap results. If you did get cameras with no IR-cut, then the colors during the day will be quite bad. If you try the cameras indoors, with no outdoors light from the sun, I am sure that the colors will be way better than that.
  6. You did not set up DDNS on the NVR. And I do not know for what reason, but Hikvision allows you to configure either EZVIZ, or hik-online. Enabling one disables the other. So if your device came preconfigured for EZVIZ, it did not come with hik-online activated. Hik-online is very easy to use if you know how to do it, but you would have had to manually open the ports on your connection by hand.

    .

What is the full model of your unit? DS-7200 is just a "family", you have many different models. Older devices from a few years back do not have QR code, and do not have updated firmwares.
  8. It seems that your blue cable here sucks. If you can not use it wired, there are only a few options that might apply. Disconnect your NVR, connect a netbook using that cable, and see if the network works at all using that computer.

    onboard rj45 port

Correct settings should be with DHCP disabled (that is, unchecked). And use 192.168.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 as DNS servers.
  10. Check this thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=43851
  11. That is not a PTZ camera, so it will not have RS485. You just point it wherever you want it to look when you mount it, it will not move at all after that.
  12. Oh, ok! I still did not open the camera, just noticed that the reset button was missing from the back.
  13. Oh, and the reset button is gone.
  14. Here are some pics comparing them both.
  15. Here are some quick thoughts. The 2CD2032F is different from the 2CD2032. The casing is different, the materials are different. They do look like a lot, but they are not. Just by picking them up you can feel the difference, the old 2CD2032 is way heavier than the new 2CD2032F. They do feel different; the new model casing is different material, it doesn't feel so thick, it doesn't feel so heavy, it doesn't feel so sturdy. It feels a bit "cheaper", I would say. The new 2CD2032F is about 325 grams, while 2CD2032 is about 375gr. The new model does look ok, I am not saying it looks like a cheap camera, I do think that Hikvision tried to lower the costs, and I hope this will not affect the quality. I might like a bit more the old casing, but once they are mounted high somewhere, it will be quite hard to tell the difference between them. This 2CD2032F came with 5.2.5 firmware (sticker says 5.2., english date. According to the serial number it was manufactured 27/Jan/2015.
  16. Then you are doing something wrong, those IPs are on the same subnet. Post pictures of what you are entering on the router before you get that error.
  17. Some DVRs do, some don't. So it depends on what unit your friend has.
  18. Your router and the IP you are trying to forward to are on different subnets. What is your router's IP address? What is the IP address you are trying to forward traffic to?
  19. Already got my 2CD2032F-I. It is a bit different than 2CD2032-I, still have not had the time to test it.
  20. Post pictures of those cameras. Something tells me that they are not PTZ...
  21. 10 times better, of course! So using two pairs on the UTP cable must be twice as good! (/joking)

    Siamese RG59 cable extender

I will explain it with my crappy english; a 50 meter cable will always be best than 2 25 meter cables with an adapter.

    auto tracking analog speed dome

Can you? Yes. What do you want to track? And how much are you willing to spend on it? http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=ptz+auto+tracking+module
  24. The 2CD2332 does not have audio. If you want a model with microphone or audio input, you can try DS-2CD2532F-IS or DS-2CD2732F-IS (they have to be the model with the S on the name).
