I have bought a eco4 DVR but it would not going to record mode. I've tried everything but the record led will not going up. What can be the problem, the unit is already a few years old but not used since than.

Have somebody of you experience with the integral DVXi and DVXe DVRS ?

I have here a lot of RG62 cable but can i use this as i think the impedance is not 75 ohm but 93 ohm. Would it make a big difference. Thanks for reply.

Hi, I have a honeywell installation with 1 honeywell gold speed dome camera and 1 relaisbox from honeywell they works also with id code. Now is my mention to set up this on my convision V200 videoser. How need i connect the data line from the matrix of from the dome to the videoserver as i cant find a manual to do this.

I wan to use my vcl dome on my vivotek videoserver, but you need to fill in the strings in ascii code, where can i find a translation from the vcltp protocol to ascii protocol. Thanks

Do anyones know the video servers from syac ? The type of the server is syac digi-eye lite. I have now an axis 2411 but it supported only 1 camera and i need to set it up for 2 cameras. The cameras that i use is 1 VCL (ademco) Gold and 1 VCL Platinum. Can you use this server for remote this camera's? The new servers from axis for 4 cameras are not configured to use with the platinum edition, they understood only the gold edition of these domes. And do you know the price of the syac servers? I have seen this on the website of syac and therse are servers builded for using 30 different PTZ devices.

I've see to the module ktd-312 but it converst rs-232 to rs-422 and not rs-485 to rs-422. I don't now what you mean with multi-drop and multi-point. Can you give an example to explain this better? Thanks for the answers

Hello, Can i use a kalatel cyberdome 18x d/n camera on a vcl/maxcom/honeywell/ademco matrix. I have now 3 honeywell rapiddomes but i want to try now with a kalatel cyberdome. The only difference is honeywell is a rs-485 communication protocol and kalatel is rs-422. But what is the difference between them? Anyone already tryed or more info about this.

I use use 1 powe supply for each camera, i go place 2 cameras but the second is far away from the first. I have to use a weatherproof housing for placing the power supplys in, like the original from vcl. Do you now that you need the original that there are setting in the power supply from a vcl or is another also good. With the original you have 2 circuits, 1 for the camera self and 1 for the heater. The original is 3A 24VAC 72W, thats all i now. I havent still connect the camera because i must sure that i make him not dead with faulty power supply.

I have a 8" dome camera for outside. That is with a sepparate power supply of 24VAC for the camera and the heater. Did anybody now that you can use it with anther power supply from 24VAC 3A because i havent not the original and they are very expensive, more than 400$. Or have you it to sell please let me now.

Hello, I search for a vcl speeddome camera, i have found 1 and 1 keyboard for this. The keyboard is from ademco but i think its the same as a maxcom keyboard with the same protocols. The camera is delivery without the power supply. Is the a special one because the cost +/-400$ or can i use a strong alternative ps from 3A. Did anyone now that you can use a keyboard from the maxcom pro serie for 1 single dome without a matrix?
