    I really appreciate your help. Like I said before we have no idea what a DNS server is for. We have a home security system we're setting up and she wants to be able to log on from any computer to check the cameras. So after reading your post I think we have a better understanding of this whole thing. thank you.

    Hi guys, my mother bought a 9 camera security system for her home. We are currently stuck on setting up a DNS server to host the videos. My mother nor me either one have a clue about dns servers. Any help would be appreciaqted. thanks
