hi hi firstly this forum has been very helpful for me in setting my own home CCTV DVR system.. what i have archived - all cams connected up - IP port forwarding established and it can be view via the web but only via IE.. i am trying to look for a updated version but have difficulty looking for versions which could work off chrome and firefox.. hope someone has a idea.. i have a pic posted below of the software it uses to view remotely, i guess its a generic software and should work easily with other sets too. i have a issue with a particular CCTV video line and i dun have the tools to troubleshoot if the COAX line is good or not.. power lines are working... but just the video lines are non functioning... image is just a dark black image and seems to have signal lost... i changed cams and still the same issue.. any ideas? this line is to my house front porch

here is the software which is accessing the set remotely, seems to be a generic software used by many of those china produced DVR sets anyone has a similar software which can access via Chrome or iOS? -
its from a china manufactured.. and from the specs stated it seems good... cost about 2200Yuan to ship out of China.. only thing i am not sure is this : <8 / 16 Camera with a loop-through video input and output, two-way composite video signal output> what does loop throught means ??.. i know this set can connect to 8 cameras.. but loop throught can bring it up to 16 cameras???

sure thing guys... will take your inputs in... yes my initial worry is also about battery life and 3.6V lithium cells are not cheap ... especially the ones that are used in the sensors.... but then again.. using wired is also tough with a current dwelling .. many trunking may have to be run... a long shot thought... can i use a combination of wired sensor .. then wiring it to one wireless contact ?? i have sort of decided to get the SIMON models.. now its the XT or the SIMON 3
