It can use both 4g & wifi as long as the dvr port has been forwarded correctly. So to cut cost don't view when on 3g

Sending Command strings over RS485

Set 85 means Set preset 85, call means to use preset 62 then use preset 2, it is in the DVR PTZ settings. -
Dahua - Code-stream type
msecure replied to Moensted's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
If you use the paid version gDMSS Plus it does have Push Video support. -
If you use a 24" and above Monitor/TV to compare TVI/CVI/AHD DVR you can see that AHD is the worst of these so call HD Analog system but it is cheap though.

I am using a similar SDI to HDMI converter without any problem. It's best for you to troubleshoot the fault this way:- Try bring your SDI camera to a shop that sells SDI DVR, see if they willing to let you try, if that works that means you might have gotten yourself a spoilt converter. Also, you can bring along the converter and test with their SDI Camera. BTW, where did you buy the SDI PTZ?

SDI camera is still readily available but real time 16ch SDI DVR is really getting scarce!

Can give the link to the CVI tester that you have seen, and how much is it?

Night time vision - is this as good as it gets?

Actually the camera need to have "Smart IR" function but that normally comes with a camera with built-in IR, it will reduce the power to the LED when object is closer to the lens so you will not get a white washed effect. -
CCTVMAN CM03E02MWI - anyone tried it?

Best method to know how good is the IPC & who is the manufacturer is to ask the seller what mobile software that the camera use. -
Just get a 4 channel SDI DVR that supports audio input. It will be cheaper than getting a dedicated SDI encoder with audio. I find most SDI media converters tend to be very expensive.

Been using this for a few years, if you get the higher capacity will last 24hours if your IPC does not use much power. -

Need Firmware for chinese camera Sunvision SV-B603W
msecure replied to myndresku's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Try look for XM firmware, Xiongmai. They are the main supplier for this camera. -
I have seen recorded footage of H.265 but only at 2MP so there seems not much difference with H.264, I think the major attractions is the file size & also 4K video will be better.

Any pictures? My 3rd party CVI has audio. -
Nice video! But which clip is CVI & which is SDI? When I view livestream very jerky so did not bother to compare. Also, why don't you just use SDI PTZ. The converter is so much cheaper. And camera also not much difference in price. Note:Just notice the Blackmagic 4K takes SDI input so you don't need any converter

Here is the latest recording I did with the HDCVI from Dahua, am not really impress with the quality, anyone else tested this and can share your opinion? WZ7bNpKcYjA

Firmware Dahua DH_HCVR5108H
msecure replied to edilio8's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
This looks like the analog Dahua firmware. BTW, what's the reason for you to upgrade? -
Just full copper conductor will be fine but make sure cable rated as 3GHz.
-
Actually AHD was roll out in China much earlier, around July 2014. I have yet to see a good AHD system that can beat CVI but of course with AHD pricing very close to analog that would not be a fair comparison.
-
Dahua sold off a license for CVI? I don't get what you mean? Any source? TIA

License Plate Camera VS Regular IP MP
msecure replied to mattaggie's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
I get good capture of moving vehicle plates at night if I set 1/200 second on my SDI too, but when daytime come it is all whitewashed. Your IPC without this problem? -
Do you know of specific manufacturers that are committed to carrying HDSDI forward? Most of what I've seen is people trying to get rid of it like the plague. Assuming HDSDI is everything it promises to be, are there still going to be reliable people manufacturing HDSDI products? Have you heard of Eyenix? http://www.eyenix.com/index/sub01.php?vmenu=v0201 I have tested an ordinary SDI with their TX-RX EX-SDI and manage to get excellent signal on a 300 meter run of cheap but Real Full copper RG59. Now my supplier has already started to offer EX-SDI camera so you will only need the receiver at DVR end if the cable run is above 130+- meter. And soon they will have EX-SDI DVR.

You're definitely correct about HDCVI degrading over CCA. I can honestly say though that these guys are using solid copper. I know because they made me sell it to them against my advice Are you very sure about your source for the full copper RG6?
-
As long as full copper RG59 or RG6 also will give the same quality @200 meter Have you tested HDCVI with RG6 yourself? If so, do you know what the specs are on that RG6 cable? We've had nearly 100% of our customers using RG6 end up with terrible results when using it with HDCVI. What do you mean by terrible results? Is the video with interference or no signal at all? Any video clips?
