    GKB CCTV

Oh, GKB is still around? Anyway, best bet would be HIK & Dahua.
  3. Yes, all genuine dahua have the same GUI & can use GDMSS & PSS for PC CMS. The 2 Hybrid DVR from your first post is not dahua. They are Xmeye which is a clone. Also if you read properly the 8ch can only support 8nos IPC on 960h.
  4. Are you using POE for their IPC? If yes, try giving DC direct to see if it helps.

    HikVision Remote Access Problem

You can set up teamviewer & pm me the ID & Pass and set a time when we are both online so that I can have a look at it for you. It's rather strange that you can remote view playback but not live!
  6. Even if both the manufacturers of the IPC & NVR says it conforms to Onvif 2.x or whatever standard, you can only view & record 7/24 on most cases. Motion recording is normally not supported.

    IFSEC 4K camera presentations

But if you zoom in to the details on a 5MP IPC it would looks much better right?
  8. 99% of the NVR can display 240fps in total if it says it can record @240fps. As for the SDI DVR, since you are only using 4channels, it might be possible for you to allocate the full 30fps per camera in the SDI DVR settings.

    HDCVI video

It is 500 not 50 meter. But furthest I have tested is about 350 meter on Belden RG6 CCS.

I tested a CVI camera with a 50 meter roll standard cable with a CVI DVR and it works perfectly. No degradation of the resolution at all.

Here is the answer, no problem with a 50 meter run " title="Applause" />

    TVT TD2316ME problem

Did you notice the RJ45/Lan port blinking when you switch it on? If it is functioning, most DVR can be rescue using TFTP via a PC.

So far my experience is if the analog has signal the cvi will have no problem but none of those are DIY. Guess you will need to buy from those shops that allows return. For testing purpose I will test it out later today. I am in cctv haven now! Everything can be found here! Shenzhen!

I have no need for longer runs, it's for my home. To me, the distance issue is irrelevant. So far none of the retrofit demo I have tested fail using the CVI. Even those without signal on SDI is perfect using CVI. Btw, 500m SDI camera will be ready soon.

About HDCVI Must take care it and know it is a owner of DAIHUA The distance can mach is around 30% more of HD-SDI but quality is more less of SDI Need to take care also another problem SDI can mach big distance is the camera will connected with a good DVR if the DVR use a good reciver as SEMTECH with a good cable can make more of 260meter but if use with a DVR using a reciver from China MAGNISION to be sure also with a good cable can not go on 130-150 meter Different is for HDCVI because only one chip as trasmiter and one for reciver and those are only from DAIHUA so the performance always are the best one But for my opinio ude HDCVI is a big BIG risch because only DAIHUA have the control of the IC and the system , your bussiness will be connected only with daihua can't find other factory can make HDCVI ( or better can find but all have to buy the material from daihua ) HD-SDI is a open system you can change suplier and product also it is going to improve with HD-MSDI it can mach doblle distance of now and is compatible with HD-SDI Frank2 I do not agree with you, what do you mean by big risk? For HDCVI to succeed Dahua will sell their chips to every tom, dick & harry to flood the market which is what is happening right now. With the current HDCVI pricing there is no reason to sell 960h analog. HDCVI is low end. If you want to compare then HIK TVI & NExtchip AHP would be a better comparison. SDI is a different ball game all together. Here is a screen shot of the HDCVI with 4 cams. http://postimg.org/image/lp4gwa6qb/full/
  17. If you only need 720p can consider using HDCVI. The price is only slightly higher than analog. And you can use back your RG cabling like SDI.

Welcome to the forum, your English is ok! Maybe you can share some clips or video if it does not intrude into your privacy!
  19. I don't know how true is this but one of my supplier told me this:- As we know, Hikvision already start add special protocal in their firmware to protect their foreign market after CNY holiday, so very soon most chinese suppliers will not be able to offer Hikvision english products, as the chinese firmware ipc/ip ptz camera cannot be upgraded to English

    Record to SkyDrive

There is a chinese manufacturer that is very similar to Dahua which are already making DVR with Cloud recording, however their NVR with this function is not ready now. Hopefully after the Chinese New Year holidays can get my hands on a demo NVR with Cloud recording.

Too much noise even at day time & when view on 40" it is not acceptable at least to me! BTW, have shown to ordinary user and they say is very nice. Cannot compare with 1080p SDI, since this HDCVI I have is only 720p. Tested with HDCVI IR dome. Have tested on a roll of 305m Belden RG6(Belden Part No.: 9116S 0101000/ 9116S 010U1000), perfect signal while the SDI has no signal as expected!
