I am getting a few DVRs for some small stores. Each store only needs 4 cameras. I am getting confused about the differences between several models I am looking at. First is the HIKvision 8000 series. It is 2CIF model Second is the Aventura DHE-04-CIF. It is much more expensive than the HIK and it seems to have the same hardware. (there is also the Aventura DHE-04-2CIF. It is more than twice price of the HIK. Last is the Intelle DVMS LTEN. It has been offered to me at a price similar to the HIK, but I have been told that additional licenses must be purchased to use software on more than one computer. This choice probably will not work So what is the real difference between the HIK 8000 and the Aventura other than a huge price difference?
