Thanks for your reply, I went round last night and used a screen video capture program on the hotel pc and got the file saved as a .avi that way. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

Hi, I don't know the type of dvr player. The story is that a friend of mine has a pub with cctv in. They asked me if I could take one the .drv files and convert it to either .avi or .mpg so that it could then be burned to DVD and watched on a television. They gave me a copy of the file and the player but when I try to install the player I get the message that remote200.ocx is not installed. So far I can't locate anything to either open the .drv file or convert it. Just wondering how you managed it. Thanks

Hi user457 I am having exactly the same problem you did, can you tell me how you managed to convert the .drv files to .avi I can't find any software to do this, thanks
