After years of trying to handle this problem, we are back to square one. The Dedicated Micros 16 channel Sprite 2 DVR will freeze up, randomly display cameras within the quad view mode, then display random cameras when selecting the same camera number. It has been sent back to service many times, boards have been replaced and even the whole unit replaced.
Currently, the service department says it cannot find any problem. We duplicated the problem here in our office after removing from the clients house. It went back, they said no problem was found and it was returned. Again it was sent back, this time with a DVD showing what the DVR is displaying. Again it was returned with no problem found. The service department said "what DVD?".
We are still searching out the possible source of the problem in the external environment as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If you have seen this problem before, please share.
