  1. I can't do any installing on a government computer, even plugins and such. some of these computers here have java though. any other links with live video?
  2. can you guys post a link where I can view one that has motion video? I would like to compare the differences. the AVtech 4 channel link I get a red X where the image is supposed to be.
  3. haha thanks for the help.
  4. you guys can think what you want, but how bout some links to some decent hidden cameras?
  5. wow, that works nicely! can you supply me with a link or a PM with how much each of these cost and the differences between them? also what different things can you change in the menu
  6. sorry I should have been more specific, our marriage is great and I am in the military, I would like to be able to log on to the net and see whats happening at home, watch my kid playing, etc. it would make me feel a lot closer while I am deployed elsewhere. and if she knew it was there she wouldn't be herself, I guess its hard to explain, maybe Im a wierdo. also I want to keep an eye on babysitters too.
  7. how do you guys install a complete CCTV system in your home without your wife knowing about it or asking where that 2000$ went that was in the account? I know there are "covert" cameras disguised as smoke detectors and clocks and stuff, are these any good? or are they decent enough for checking up on the wife or watching a babysitter? I was thinking about mounting some better cameras inside the vents for the air conditioner, but don't know how good the view would be. anyone have any links to some good hidden camera options? thanks!
  8. can you guys post up some links of DVRs with these options: Live remote viewing of playback and live images using only a browser I need to be able to view live images, recorded images and change settings from a remote computer that I can not install any software onto because it is a government computer. some of the computers here have java already. demo links to try out would be appreciated as well. sorry I am new to this.
