I saw a couple of 12v power supplies by B-Tron I thought I might buy but they offer two models for the same price. One is a fused unit and the other is a Circuit breaker (PTC) Unit. I would assume the one with the ptc would be better? Not having to replace a fuse. Dennis [/b]

You know what, it just come to me that if I bought pre-made how in the h$#l would I pull all those connectors thru the walls. I believe my best choice would be to buy the coax and......then install the connectors. What was I thinking, duh.

I need a couple of 100 ft. lengths of siamese coax and I considered buying the pre-made cables with the bnc's and barrel connectors made on them but almost every site I go to the pre-made cables dont appear to be Rg59 coax. Im afraid to buy them for fear they are not as good. Can this be true? Thanks, Dennis

I going to be buying some cameras to watch my garage and I have read here that usually the best cams for night is black & white and with IR. And it may have been covered but for me I can install all the motion flood lights as I want. I already have some on the doors where the last break-in occured. So Im thinking that a good B/W camera and these lights should work pretty good, true? Or maybe a hi res color possibly?

Thanks Brian. Thats kinda what I was thinking. I have even considered putting a motion flood light and a camera inside the garage so I can record them entering as well as what takes place once they get inside. Its frustrating to have someone trying to steal my atv and knowing they have seen whats in my garage. I just want to see who it is so I can gain the upper hand.

Thanks for the reply Rory, Boy how I wished I have just started a new thread about how the features of this Clover compared to other 4 channels. Clover is not just sold in chain stores, and I have found web sites selling them, but all I wanted is the skinny on what this unit has compared to better ones that are mentioned here frequently. I just wanted someone to say, hey the wavelet is not as good as Mpeg4 or that it dont have a usb, or it dont have a removable hard drive. Now, the Active-Teklooks pretty good at this point. I need to go to these sites and readup on it. And yes, I thought about a card in a pc, but I believe I would rather go with the stand alone. Dennis
