If your router is showing the ip camera being assigned the ip of 192.168.254.2, you should try that IP as well.

From the look of it, most likely you are not using the correct user account / password. Check with your vendor on how to reset the system back to factory default if you can't get the password right.

If you bought from Aliexpress, most likely the vendor is using sets meant for local use (china use with chinese firmware and language) and "hack" them into english firmware. During the process, they might had just clone the settings and the cameras results in devices with identical mac and serial number. HIKVISION will not support these sets. You'll have to figure out how to reflash the firmware yourself. There are some threads here with the guides. Alternatively, get the vendor who sold you the sets to assist you on that.

I think it'll be helpful if you list down what you had done to setup/troubleshoot the system. e.g. IP set correctly, ping response, firewall setting, network cable crimp properly, etc.

Yup. IVMS-4200 would be able to do that. Just go to Device Management and add the other 4 DVR's setting in.

Some system can only playback limited chs at the same time. Did you try playing back ch 5 alone ?

Your Camera is a Analogue HD (AHD) Camera. It doesn't output normal CVBS signal. You'll not be able to view it on your normal TV.

Are you connecting your laptop to one of the POE Lan port on the NVR ? If you are connecting to your other network, you'll not be able to access the Camera configuration page unless your NVR have option to do port forwarding as well (The NVR's basically also a router).

The port in your diagram from NVR to your Router is considered as the WAN port of the NVR. The other ports you are connecting the cameras to are the LAN port of the NVR. Basically you are having the WAN and LAN (of the NVR) on the same subnet. (192.168.1.XXX). That'll cause some issues. Try Changing your Camera subnet to 192.168.2.XXX or Change your ISP Router and NVR (WAN) to 192.168.3.XXX . The Camera subnet shouldn't be the same as your ISP Router Subnet.

You'll have to decide if you want to catch or deter the nanny. My opinion is always to install overt cameras (but don't have to disclose to them the exact coverage) rather than covert cameras unless you already suspect something wrong is ongoing and want to catch it in action. Being human, people tends to do stupid things when they think no one's watching. I think you would rather things not happens to your son, rather than things happened.

IP Cameras are not like normal analogue system. Even though with ONVIF compliance, they are supposed to be compatible, they sometimes are not. Most likely your LAView's NVR will not be able to detect Dahua Camera's through Plug and Play feature. You'll need to configure it manually. Setup your Dahua's Camera to your LAView's NVR subnet with a IP currently not assigned to other Laview's IP camera. Understand you can't connect to the Dahua's IP Camera. Take it down, connect to your home network through a short span of network cable and then try to configure it. Eliminate the cabling issues or problem that might arises from incompatibility issues from your Laview system first.

Try switching the Lan 1 and 2 around ? Network Port 1 to the Camera, using 192.x.x.x Network Port 2 to the Office Network, using 10.x.x.x Most likely Network Port 1 is the LAN (where the NVR is also a DHCP server). Network Port 2 is the WAn. Cameras on a different network is supported. However, the NVR discovery routine would only look for camera on it's LAN network. You'll have to add in the Camera's setting manually to the NVR for those located outside the LAN.

All these are connected through the NVR's LAN Ports (or the POE port) and not the WAN Port ? What's the gateway setting on all cameras ? And did you disable the DHCP Server function on at least 1 of the NVR ? If that's the case, both set of cameras don't need to be on the same physical network, and you should have 2 independent network of cameras to the the NVR. You shouldn't need to have any physical network cable connecting the 1st 32 Camera to the 2nd 32 Cameras.

Did you ever got it working before ? Looks like camera login are incorrectly configured on the NVR. The NVR can't login to the camera to obtain a feed.

As what I said. Almost the same is not the same as exactly the same.

As Reliable ? Means Equally reliable. Not even a 0.0000001% differences ? When configured by the same person ? Taking same brand/equivalent range of equipment in comparison ?

If it's not "branded", your best bet is through the vendor you bought it for. You mentioned through Aliexpress. Check with them. Too many of these unbranded equipment. The assemblers will get board, casing, etc from different manufacturers and assemble the system. Even though the system looks the same (since casing supplied by same manufacturer or clone), the internal board/firmware/software might be totally different. Even if you get it from the same vendor, over time they might not consistently use the same board/firmware/software. This make integration difficult down the road as each batch of DVR might require different software/apps to access.

If you had tested 4 different cables and also different power source on the camera, and another working cameras doesn't work when you plug in to the same port, most likely it's 1. That particular port on the NVR is faulty 2. Did you crimp the 4 different cables yourself ? Did you get the cable crimp properly in the standard arrangement ? Use a network cable tester to test.
