Thanks for replying. After I changed the IP from static to DDNS I closed the DVR software and now am not able to log back in. I did not know if there was a way to reset the dvr manually so that it would go back to the original settings. I tried the default un/pw (admin/admin) but neither my old password nor the default worked. It had started to act funny before this anyway and would not let me rewind and view old footage so I was just going to erase everything and start over. John

I was playing with the settings on my AVTECH dvr and changed the network to DNNS and now I cannot log on to the recorder. Is there away to reset the dvr to factory defaults? Thanks, John
