Are you trying to say that this Toshiba cameras are lower priced than ACTI? Probably they make the CCD them self but i am still skeptic. What is your ball park price you buy toshiba at? please disclose. In SE-Asia we do not see toshiba ip application so much yet.

Between AXIS the pioneer of good cameras and new commer ACTI from Taiwan, is there any other suggestion for marketable IP Cameras that are reliable and trustable to be used in Finance/ Bank/ Telcom shops/ Insurance? In SE-Asia Many start to go from Analog to IP but the pricing "per camera" is still a very large issue for large installations or multi site. Also, in SE-Asia many corporaitons preffer American or European Brands as fame or credibility so to say. How is it with GE IP Cameras/ Pelco IP Cameras. The prices here are somewhat similar to Axis?!. Progressive scan and frame by frame capture create still pictures which saves bandwidth and harddisk space when eventually recorded but customers still tend to move heads to analog for several reasons including cost but some times also security issue with IP shared networks. What are the trends seen here? Thanks.
