  1. Ok gang. I'm going to give you a goldmine in this next example. Think about it, use it! It will close a ton of business for you!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE ~ Have you ever been to a place of business where the service was so poor that you vowed to never to go back? (left) And yet, you were too busy to make a special trip back to tell the owner? ~Do you think it was the owner or the employee (that gave you bad/poor service)? ~When you leave your business you are a customer aren’t you? ~Have you ever been to a place of business that at one time or another couldn’t use some improvement with customer service? ~How do you feel about how you were treated as a customer? ~Can you tell when an employee or an owner waits on you? ~How much do you have to pay an employee to care/treat your customer like you? ~Have you ever called your business in the evening and your line was busy(employee on the phone)?     Scorpion... Wow! That's a heck of an "out of the box" idea. Sounds like you thought that one through, or, at least may have been involved in Franchising before?? I'd love to be a part of helping someone like that but I'm not sure I want to tie myself down to a single product line, or manufacturer. This stuff changes so quickly, what's cool today is tomorrow's junk. However, I like your marketing ideas. I'm going to think through how perhaps I could provide privately branded training for the manufacture/distributor - Maybe even hire manufacture reps to offer the training programs to their dealer clients?? Great stuff man! Thanks!
  4. Here's another great statement/question that will make people think about the value of our product and service relative to the insignificant cost! This one has help close a ton of business! "Mr. Prospect, would you take oh, say,, $50,000 cash and pile it up here in the middle of the floor, then turn around leave the doors open for the public to walk in for the next 12 hours and ask your minimum wage hourly employee to watch it for you, and then just leave? Well, without my system, isn’t that exactly what you’re doing? Your inventory didn’t walk in that door for free did it? I’ll bet you’ve got at least $50,000 worth of product in here. Isn’t it worth $7 or $8 dollars a day to keep an eye on it and people honest with it – especially when you’re not here?
  5. Ok... let's help each other and see what we can come up with... Power selling statements are statements, or stories, that paint a vivid picture in the mind of our potential customer and help him to understand the importance and power of our product (CCTV) in his business. Here's one I've always had a great response to. Let's see how many we can come up with, once everyone catches on to the idea... Tell me if you like this one: "If you had been blind and deaf before you got into this business, would you have ever started/bought this business in the first place? ,,,, why?........ well, without my system, isn’t that exactly what you are when you leave your employees to run things as you walk out that door? Aren’t you blind and deaf the minute you leave? That's why you're always 'wondering' about what's going on when you're not here. My system will take the 'wonder' out of your business!" You like? Ok... some one else give it a try!

    Hey Wire Guys... No problem! Actually he generated over $250K in sales... and, it took him 90 days.... Still not bad though. Especially when you consider the fact that his company was new and he had never sold CCTV before in his life!! People love our product - especially when its sold right and fully leveraged for the end user! Isn't it great to be involved with a true win/win product!

    Thanks Soundy... I've spent the last 5 years developing sales training and lead generation curriculum and am looking for aggressive/progressive manufactures and/or distributors to partner with and offer these programs to their dealers.... Most of the manufacturing training I have seen (been through) is primarily "product centric" - meaning, it is more technical sales training and revolves around product features/capabilities, etc. That's all essential for sure, but it doesn't help a guy figure out how to get in front of qualified buyers and close a sale! So... if you know of progressive manufactures or distributors who you think would value offering that type of training along with their technical training, and have any contacts within those organizations - I'd love to talk with them!

Any one have any ideas on how/where to get the best sales training that teaches how to sell and/or market CCTV products to small and medium size businesses and at the highest price points (margin) possible? I Googled: "cctv sales training" and there was one company that seemed to be all over page one of Google. No one else seems to offer anything worth a darn...
