Oh and I forgot to add, I am currently only going to be using one camera, so 1 video channel will be fine, but 4 video channels would be ideal.

Hi guys, I am quite new to the CCTV game, but I am looking for some very basic and reliable video surveillance software for my computer. I am using an ARGUS card with a composite video CCTV camera. I have already searched these forums, especially the very useful sticky topic, but all video surveillance software seems to come with a lot of 'bells and whistles'. This is all I require: 1/ Automatically starts recording once surveillance program is opened. 2/ Very minimal, if any, user interface. The only front-end controls that I need are adjustments for frame rate, video resolution, video format and save location. 3/ No password locks to start up/close down. 4/ No PTZ feature. 5/ No motion detection feature. 6/ No network camera feature. 7/ Small memory footprint, quick to start up, quick to close down. I hope someone out there can point me in the right direction. I look forward to your responses. Many thanks, Simon
