  1. Hello everybody, this is my first post/question. I'm a DIYer. I recently installed a standalone cctv system I bought on ebay, the DVR is a Zmodo, 8 cameras, everything chinesse. It has 9 BNC inputs and a VGA and a BNC outputs. Everything is fine except I can´t connect the BNC output to a VHF (antenna, coaxial) input on a TV. The funny thing (to me) is that if I connect a RCA video converter to the coaxial antenna end of the cable and plug it in a video RCA input of the same tv I get the signal. I could connect the tv with RCAs but the thing is that there's already some coaxial (cable tv type) wiring and it's neat and everything and goes thru walls and roof and everything. By the way, 2 different guys at a radioshack type store told me that I should be able to connect the dvr thru the antenna input of the tv with no extra connector, although i tried with a couple of adapter and got the same problem. Thank you all for your suggestions.
