  1. Good evening everyone. I am looking at upgrading my home outdoor cameras and am looking for one with min 480 TVL . In searching online from different venders, I am finding a lot that have no name cameras and are just OEMing other cameras or sell cameras with just that, no name. So I came across a company, LT Security Inc and this model LTS LTCD248FMW2 has very nice specs and is within my budget. Does anyone have experience or feedback with these model cameras or this company? Any info appreciated. Thanks
  2. So I have finalized my decision to three receivers but not sure which one to go with. Which would you guys recommend? 1. Shoreview G4-LTA8 Hikvision Economy Class Digital Video Record 2. Help with DVR decision, which to buy...

Yes I understand perfectly what you mean in regards to the brand but I would take the risk not knowing the brand. In fact reason it does not bother me is that my current DVR also did not have a brand on it, bought from same vendor and I have not had any problems. So back to the specs, which one would you ror anyone else on the forum ecommend? Thanks

Help with DVR decision, which to buy...

Thanks for welcoming me. I am not sure the brand names. I visited the store today and I gave them my current setup and wanting to upgrade my DVR since it is a bit old and already having issues. They gave me their two models sold at the store along with the price and specs. In looking at their spec sheet it does not show a brand name. Funny you mention about brand names since the few stores I visited locally, most DVR's I saw did not show one. I did ask in one store and one store said it was their own brand in which they build them in house and the other said they OEM one manufacture but do not recall the name now. So I began doing some searching and found this forum and hopefully someone can help out which model's specs look better.
