    I suggest you don't use the UTP transmitter, if you want to get the clearly video, you can use the fiber optic transmission for CCTV Camera video, that is the best.

    Wow... 1000', maybe fiber WAS a good idea. Video over UTP using active baluns would cover that, but that's pushing it for coax, and for RS-485. Definitely well beyond the range of 10/100 ethernet.

    There is no reason for video to look choppy today, in fact it should look better than the new 1080i HDTV if video quality is important.
