"Contractor Pak" Outdoor Cams....Most complete/bes
spytown replied to smarty's topic in Security Cameras
is it faces or id tags on people you are tring to see or license plates on cars? what are your distances from where you are placing the cameras to what you are trying to see CLEARLY for identification? -
probably would be a good idea to have some links at the top of the forum, to automatically trasnslate to Spanish or French

I dont think those Panasonic monitors would be the best bet..first of all they are much more expensive than the Sanyo. Second the chasis that they are using is coming over from Panasonic consumer. Panasonic consumer has now discontinued ALL CRT (tube) style TV'S. Therefore I dont know how much longer Panasonic Security will even have the WV-CK2020A available. The Sanyo is still the better buy.

Gesulado, sorry i missed your call..please call me back or PM me if you need further assistance. Was it in regard to the above thread?

Those bullet and board stylr usually use a "d mount" type of lens.

on a new house why would you want to put those large housings? have you also looked into the smaller bullet cameras that offer everything all built in, such as this one...from KTNC ..it is the KPC-N600H1 HIGH-RES. NIGHT VISION CAMERA BUILT IN ◆ VARIFOCAL LENS ◆ 1/3" Sony CCD / 520TV Lines ◆ f3.8~9.5 / 2.5~6.0mm Aspheric Varifocal Lens(Day & Night) ◆ 18 LED & CDS Sensor ◆ -
The Sanyo one i mentioned is a high quality monitor. They regularly go for twice the price, but we have them on special after a special large buy.

Sanyo VCC-5774M 1/3'' High Resolution Color ''CUBE'' Camera
spytown replied to Jasper's topic in Security Cameras
MARRKK, that is the only image that Sanyo has for the camera, the same image is used for the VCC-5774M, VCC-5774 and VCC-5884. -
Sammie, if you need a field of view calculator to figure out the correct lens size you really need, here is a free one that should help..look at the right side when you open the link http://www.cbcamerica.com/cctvprod/index.html

Is that a "D" mount lens you are using? also do you have the special tool that should have come with your new lens to make proper adjustment on the camera?
-

Sanyo VCC-5774M 1/3'' High Resolution Color ''CUBE'' Camera
spytown replied to Jasper's topic in Security Cameras
jasper, yes the casino's put that camera in an in ceiling dome of some kind. usually with a clear lower dome though, so there is no loss. -
you were thinking of the KT&C KPC-N600H1 , they have the IR'S built in. you said you were thinking of getting IR'S seperately. Which way do you want to go?
-
take a look at this one from Sanyo http://sanyo.com/industrial/security/monitors/color/index.cfm?productID=763
-
Marrrkk, that is correct in regard to your info on Fuji. Actually Panasonic is now getting lenses from Fujinon as well for their Varifocal. Mark, remember to PM me when you are ready to purchase, you will see our pricing will be much better than any ADI pricing.
-
you may want to get a wireless DVR ..check out this one from APPRO http://www.approtech.com/product/nvr/nvr-2028.htm They also have the LAN camera's (wireless) to match up with them.
-
you may also want to take a look at this lens calculator you can download for free from the CBC (Computar) web-site..look on the right side when you go to the page http://www.cbcamerica.com/cctvprod/index.html

Rory, we were talking about the Toshiba IK-65WDA, wide dynamic day/night as can be found here.. is that what you also were talking about? or another version?http://www.toshiba.com/taisisd/security/products/cameras/ik65wda.htm
-
The Vitek one may not work out so great for the application. He was looking for something similar to the Panasonic WV-CP484, that is a Day/Night camera..the Vitek one you referenced is high res color only. I think the KT&C KPC-N600H1 would work out best for them.
-
your right , the new WV-CW474AS is now weatherproof as well. It was the version before it , without the "A" that was not weatherpoof.
-
The outdoor light fixtures type of cameras, do not offer any "high-res" or low lux or day/night features.
-
Marrkk, I think you really need to do the shootouts with the cameras that you had in mind (including the Toshiba) to truly test it in your application. The reps in your area i am sure will be willing to come down to you and demonstarte it or give you a unit for a week or so to test.
