spytown replied to griffonsystems's topic in Security Cameras
sure, anything else..just let me know.. -
both of you may want to consider the popular KPC-N600H1. It is a bullet style camera, not "covert" but not the size of a pelco housing either. here is the link for it.. http://http://www.ktncusa.com/

would a small bullet style or dome work for you? or are you loking for something covert for outside like a camera in a light fixture?

first of all the WV-CP474 is discontinued and replaced with the WV-CP484, check its spec, it is much higher. The WV-CW474AS, is still a current model..it is not weatherproof, only vandalproof. It is meant to go under an awning or protected from the elements. Only the WV-CW244S has the IP66 rating which can be placed outdoor with no protection..you can see its spec here.. http://www.panasonic.ca/English/Broadcast/security/pdf/wv-cp480.pdf

How much do you want toi spend? there is always a camera like this one.. http://www.spytown.com/vivxandvxssu.html -
the camera is only 330 lines horizontal resolution . awful. for that price you should be getting high-res and a DVR.
-
you sure? tried to do a search for it on google - came up with Your search - H4-F2299 Cat5 Color Bullet Camera - did not match any documents.

Jason, for the koi pond, you need to really think about that Lorex CVC-6991 camera, its lux is at 0.1 lux , as opposed to the Visiontech i previously suggested which is at 0 LUX . price seems to be the same for either.
-
Jasper - the bird sound is for an item we have on the spytown site called a birdchaser .. here is the link for that item/sound http://www.spytown.com/sonbirchasca.html

for the KOI pond.. i would recommend this camera from Visiontech. I have sold it before for that same application and it worked great.. http://www.spytown.com/vculed.html
