I have a HISHARP DVR HS-DM8030 and i intend to back-up it's entire content of 120GB. So I purchased a 320GB external hard drive (USB) but oddly the dvr does not recognize it. It however recognizes my 1GB flash drive. I tried reformatting the external hard drive to FAT32 and partitioning it to small sizes but to no avail it still does not recognize the ext. HD. I really need to copy the content of my DVR, any help will be greatly appreciated.
I also tried taking out the HD from the DVR and connected it to my PC. But Windows does not detect the drive. I can't reformat it bec. the content might be erased. Help pls.
