Hello, I have a DVR system with a GV1480 card and am having trouble getting the second set of cameras to come online. when I try to look at them in any mgt window I get a port not authorized error or nothing listed beyond camera 1-8. Can someone point me in the right direction to enable cameras 9-16 please. My system is: DVR software version 8.3 P4 2.4GHz chip 2Gb RAM 1Tb storage

ok, I am trying to get my cameras working on my DVR GV1480 and had lost the blue cable for the camera inputs so I bought a replacement online but it was a black cable not like the original blue one. could a cable be the reason I can not bring up the second port of cameras 9-16? are the cables port specific or does it not matter? If it's not the cable, what else could be preventing the card from seeing cameras 9-16? Help please
