pin hole camera battery doesn't last long

Thanks for your replies, I have decided to get a mains feed to the camera.
  2. How long should a 9 volt battery last with a pin hole camera? I get just a few hours before the battery dies. If I then disconnect the battery, and leave it for a few minutes, then reconnect, the camera will work OK for a further 5 minutes. I have checked the voltage when the camera is connected, and there is a bit of a voltage drop - drops to about 3 - 5 volts. Do I have a problem with the camera, or is this the way they are? Thanks
  3. It appears this type of question appears regularly on these boards, but I have tried all the suggestions with no luck, so here is my specific problem. I have two off, 4 port PCI cards for 6 cameras to input to. The card seems to be unbranded (DVR System on box), with a single Conexant Fusion 878A chip. I am using an old pc, that has; AMD Athlon XP2200 256MB RAM WIN XP SP2 The supplied software is a bit rubbish, and kept locking up. So, I looked around and have been trying some demo software. The problem is that these other utilities are not able to detect all the cameras, in fact just one out of 6. I have tried installing the bt drivers, but cannot seem to get it to work. Looking in the Device Manager, I see two Conexant's BtPCI WDM Video Capture. I would have thought I need to see 8 of these. Can anyone provide any clues, before I bin these cards? Thanks
