Need Help for military project and software desing
tomcctv replied to IRCCTV's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi suky see you have changed your company name again. mmmmmm and a high speed dome on a jet aircraft Stop trying to sell your products and read the posts and try to help Lol, you are quite professional on trying to sell your products and to help. i dont try to sell on here suky. you try to sell your company. (sorry)companys cheap crap on every forum..........you have just been thrown of cp forum. if you like i can post your company feed back on here if you like but then i dont think you would sell anything anymore. IRCCTV has come on to the forum to ask for help in a camera that might do a job he needs. (i dont think a 320tv line camera on a stick at the end of a runway is what he is looking for) IRCCTV have a look at this link and give them a call proper camera company. http://www.avigilon.com/products/samplefootage/ -
if you can build one yes. but its not that easy and you will have storage problems plus your staff will start to play with the pc. the sa dvr 1t h/d will give you 21-30 days and you can look it down. plus you say you want pos for tills. much better to set up on the sa dvr if you are doing it yourself.

i am in england and also thought of buying direct. what a big mistake. all the companys on security global. say they manufacture. BULLS##T. before i bought from china i whent to see the manufactura in china. very helpfull. picked me up from airport after long flight took me to a nice hotel. next morning the ceo picked me up from the hotel to take me to see his manufacturing plant. 40 mins into the drive he does a u-turn drives for 5 mins and u-turns again back the way we came. i said are you lost he said he thought it was up this street...........your the ceo of a big manufactura in china and you cant find your own factory. let say i did not part with any money. if he cant find his factory how is he going to look after your orders. other stories of people buying from china are 100 dome cameras $900 shiping cost $1800 you dont find out about shipping cost till you go to pic them up. but i do bring in all my cameras now 560tv line 5 year warranty and in the last 12 months i have had to send only 3 back. i used to buy this type of camera from a supplier in the uk for £310 till i found a packing slip in the box. i contacted the company and the same camera to my door £89. so yes to bring them in yourself is very cost effective.

in the dark areas you are best off using b/w cameras. you will get a clear picture. and use good colour cameras at your door entry. i would use a dvr with pos built in for the info from your tills. getting cameras right in a night club is hard to do but i have done many night clubs. take a look at this system. full internet/mobile/pda/iphone viewer. http://www.avermedia.com/AVerDiGi/Product/Detail.aspx?id=86

How many Mega pixel cameras can be on one Server?
tomcctv replied to EFEZY's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
have 8 x 2mp cameras recording 24hr its been like that for 15 months never had a H/D problem -
Are larger IP systems something you've specialized in? Hi smedley. if this is your first time installing ip then i would say dont. you are looking at doing a 40 cam install. you need to know what you are doing and you need to have a good IT manager behind you. plus the cost. look at a hybrid system were you can use both. BUT NEVER install a ip ptz.

for cif 336x272. no point spending $$$$on such high camera spec. 380 or 420 unless you are going to up-grade your dvr at a later date to say a D1 res.

New home - need mid level cctv system
tomcctv replied to mrshanes's topic in General Digital Discussion
Scorpion. well said " title="Applause" /> i try to get this point over to customers time and time again. ............. i call to see customers who as soon as you get there say i only want a 4 cam system. and the house is massive. (customer. 1 cam on driveway, 1 cam on front garden, 1 cam looking at garage, 1 camera looking over back yard. that a 4 camera system) so you explain to the customer that all cameras are looking away from the house. nothing is protecting the doors windows or the building its self. it does not take them long to aggree. MRSHANES, take time in designing your system if you can post a pic on here of your new home plans and area around it. then guys on here will help you design it. like scorpion says run cables everywere and add cameras each month it will soon build up into fortknocks. most good systems will interact with your house network i.e gates/alarm/doorentry. but spend as much on your dvr as you can to start and add to it when you can. you have 100s of guys who will help you on here they can send you demos of dvrs /cameras which is also a very good thing because at night your system will change. good cameras is the key to a system. -
Avermedia or Everfocus? Which is one of these is better?
tomcctv replied to ghostrider2142's topic in Digital Video Recorders
i have used 5 of the eh systems in the past weeks. it is a good system but i would spend just that little bit more and go for the sa or nv avermedia range. they both do a lot more and outshine the everfocus dvrs. the problem i get with the eh is you can not get a crisp clear picture on the monitor. viewing backup and over the internet is very clear. the sa or nv have a much better o/s. -
hi WRS_mark. you have to do it from the phone. or go to itunes and search for averdigi iviewer. god i hate TEA GIVE ME COFFEE ANYDAY.
