Swiping up on the app dose not wipe cameras of the dvr … it’s only a app operation it does not send a command back to dvr if there not showing on your monitor then there are only 3 causes 1, you don’t have admin rights to alter settings (setup by installer) 2, a power supply has gone bad (which is most likely your problem) 3, bad cameras (unlikely at same time) how many cameras do you have in total and what type of power supplies

Hi just swiping up should not delete your cameras ……. Out of app and back in again should reset it did you setup your recorder or an installer

Using there so called cloud service anything can happen or change they are a bit dishonest when they call it a cloud service because it’s not …… cloud is a place you can store files or dvr footage ….. lots of China cctv manufacturers call P2P the cloud and it’s not ….. Kestrel/ xmeye ……people think when using the app to view their system that when they login from phone it connects to their dvr direct …… no it does not …. It goes from phone to server in China that then connects you to your dvr …. So settings can be changed by a 3rd parts server location Registrant State/Province: zhe jiang Registrant Country: CN

Hi. No firmware will not help …. I think you will find your problem is under camera settings ….. you are looking for sharpness control

also in this picture shows your problem you have no power to cameras the power plug that goes into your dvr (next to network plug) should be going into the lead marked dvr and the other side goes into dvr power plug so this indicates to me you only have 1 power supply

Ok your network warning is not a problem it just needs resetting up yes the red plugs are camera power yes I see your power plug for dvr but I can’t see your power supplies

Hi camera only with video push sounds like you’re looking at smart cameras with subscription to a cloud server …. Never good and not reliable you need to search IP CCTV network camera with SD card built in what is your budget

Hi on your iPhone got to settings then scroll down till you see kestrel viewer and switch off local network (top one) then try the app again but don’t press login … bottom left you will see local login click that and follow the instructions

Ok I have just updated the app you will need to delete all apps on your devices …. If you don’t it will not work I will pm you full instructions to reinstate the app

Hi if you don’t see NAT tab then that rules out your system being a tvt so you have the dahua system so you need to download https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/dmss/id1493268178 but remove all other apps or you will get a conflict and won’t work

Hi I can see this post going know we’re Kestrel app is not the right app for your system I know that 100% If you search qvis in the search bar at top and see who is support going back years other ops recorder is made by xmeye your recorder is made by dahua or TVT if you go into settings then network and at top of screen do you see a tab that says NAT

Hi that is not an older app last update was a few months ago your recorder is a xmeye system and that is the app that goes with it. all the gear no idea ….. DONT use the xmeye app it’s not for your system
