    DVR capability

Generally speaking, if it is a 4 channels DVR with 50fps recording frame rate, that is to say, each camera can only get 12.5fps...
  3. When did you purchase it? For H9516UV DVR has upgraded recently, so there are two types, they may sent the old H9516UV DVR to you. Do not worry, ask them to creat a RMA for you, replace the newly upgraded one. If you still are not satisfied with it, ask them for a full money refund if you purchased it within 30 days.

    DDNS

If you have a Dynamic IP, you will need to set up an Account on www.dyndns.org. That way when your IP changes, you can connect to the same Hostname (ex: my.dvrdns.org) everytime you connect. It other words, it makes your Dynamic IP a static host address. This is very important if you want to connect to your DVR remotely.

    All ports are blocked

I think this problem has no relationship with the Router Brands. First, please have a carful check whether you setup the local network well, this should be down first before the remote network setup. Port mapping may cause the trouble. If you still can not figure out, please let me know!

Bullet Camera (non IR)--9V or 12?

I think it largely depends on its quality, no much relation with its power supply. Just two models with different specifications.

    Camera not working at night

There maybe a shortage of power supply......

    Nice to see you!
  20. Hi, Jeff, If the budget counts most, a DVR Card may be a better choice! Some are lower than $190 and also compatible to some AMD Processors. Just for your reference, Hope it helps!
