Hello, my hope my suggestions can help you out. "My driveway is about 16x50 with a street light out front."-----so I think the Diagonal length of the dive way should be around 52 feets, which is considered to be the night vision visible distance in complete darkness. and for diveway use, it should be weatherproof and vandal proof. My front yard is about 50x100 and would eventually like coverage of the whole front yard. so this one should be a dome with wide viewing angle and 100's visible distance in complete darkness. And it is also should be weather proof and weather proof, if it is a vari-focal camera, it will be better for you can adjust the lens for best picture quality. Any help needed, please let me know.

How does remote software reconize my dvr card
suky replied to robkey's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Hello, Only make these changes to the Router that your Digital Video Recorder is connected to. Ok, so you can connect locally and see your cameras, you're halfway done now. What we have to do now is to connect to you router, configure it, and you will be able to see your cameras on the Internet. To do this, connect to your Default Gateway (Router) in Internet Explorer. You should then see a login box appear to connect to the Router: After you log in, click on Applications and Gaming (For Linksys Routers Only) To find out what IP you have from your Internet Service Provider, go to the following website: http://www.whatismyip.com -

Question China verses USA on CCTV Equipments
suky replied to kidsusuki's topic in General Digital Discussion
Actually, there is no big difference in the production skills or technology between USA and China. Some USA companies had their products produced in China to reduce the production cost.
