Great, that's good news! My last question is, let's say I have a 3 ft rg 59 cable, can I terminate a bnc connector one one end, and on the other end can I terminate a male rca terminal for composite video?
Hi, I will be doing a security system for a facility. I ran all the wires but the IT guy terminated all my rg59 with compression coax F type connectors. However all my cameras are BNC. I was wondering if on one end of the cable I can do a f (the kind used for cableboxes/satellite)type compression connector, and on the other end a BNC connector. I'm curious if the quality will be deteriorated or not. All the cameras are 540tvl. Even at all the outlets that are running to display from the dvrs to the tvs are terminated with a F connector compression, what would be the best solution for this issue?
