If you can upload the pictures; you can host them free at this site: http://www.imageshack.us/ Just make sure they are 1MB or smaller. Otherwise thier system will shrink them down to something smaller than you want. Also don't make them to big to fit in the forum either. Otherwise I think it shrinks them down as well. Use the preview feature before you submit your photos to make sure they will look right. Use Jpeg and you won't have a problem. Right click on the images here and choose properties, then you can check out the dimensions people are using. You might have to resize them to get them to post correctly.

Here is the inside of a Sanyo Dome, VCD-D1184VA surface mount. I will post some camera views when I find some suitable for posting.

The U.S. is definitely behind. Do you recall any of the upload speeds associated with any of these plans? Thanks for reply.

The CS (Cable Select), shouldn’t cause you any problems. On a regular PC the CS just allows the drive to become master or slave depending where it is connected on the IDE cable. If the first drive is set to Master and the second one to CS, then the CS drive automatically becomes the slave drive. Rebooting can be caused by too little power reaching the circuit board or too much. I don’t know where you would measure this. If someone knows the power range that the machine will run at that would be helpful.

VST_Man, Sent you some information at your regular email address.

I think you would be a lot happier. The quality is much better than a computer monitor. No comparison.

I don’t know if you have seen this yet, but here is a link showing a car being captured by a standard CCTV camera then one with progressive scan technology. Much better Identification with moving objects. http://www.axis.com/products/video/camera/progressive_scan.htm

From the way the problem is described it almost sounds like signal loss of some kind. You can install netstumber on his laptop and see if he is receiving a consistent wireless signal and eliminate that as a potential problem. The program can chart the signal over a period of time and show if the signal is dropping out intermittently. http://www.netstumbler.com/ After re-reading your posts you said you used an Ethernet cable so that should eliminate the wireless issue. I’ll just leave this for future reference for anyone else.

I was just reading in the December issue of PCWorld that for most consumers in Japan they are paying $30 or less for 50mbps download speed. I wonder how fast the upload speed is. And I thought my 4mbps home connection was fast. The upload is only 384kbps. People would be curious to know what other parts of the world are getting faster broadband than the United States for their consumers. Anybody else have some examples of up and down broadband speeds available in countries outside of the U.S.?

I think you will be happy with a GeoVision Card. I just bought a GV-1240-8 and am very happy with it. Geo has many features. If you haven’t been to their home page yet or read about all the features you should take a look. -
Sounds good. Could you also post of picture of you wearing them? Just teasing I hope you know. Looking them up right now. If you have a good link with a review will you post it?

Yeah it looks like they stripped that 2006 Porsche real bad, it looks like a go cart now. You can see the gain in the second shot where the seat cushion on the go cart looks brighter in addition to other elements in the photo. A couple day shots would be nice of that camera since it’s a day/night camera. Thanks for sharing.

Wow. You’re quick at answering questions, even the ones you ask yourself. It’s the old adage “If it is too good to be true, then is probably is!â€

I was wondering if there is a file that can be edited directly that would allow me to change the resolution that Center V2 could record at on the client PC. I have a PC that will only allow 320x240 to come across and another one that will allow 640x480? The one with 320x240 has the resolution selection area grayed out with the 320x240 visible. At the DVR it is configured at 640x480 deinterlace. I ended up closing up Center V2 and reloading it then deleting the subscriber before it connected to the DVR and then re-adding the subscriber to fix this problem. If there is a control file that can be edited directly that would be better than what I did.

That’s what I use also. I thought he just wanted something quick and free. If your willing to spend $50, ACDsee is very popular and like Rory says it does just about everything. http://www.acdsystems.com/ -

I sent you an email Scott regarding some Web Site Design.

Don’t watch much TV because I hate commercials. My current favorite would be the new Night Stalker because I was a big fan of the original. Then I like Everybody Love Raymond. Independence Day and The Thing are probably my two favorite movies of all time.

The stuff I recently received was Hauppauge AVC-100 cable. The Siamese cable is actually 2 cables, One RG59 Coax Cable with BNC Male Connectors and One Power Cable for use with 12vdc Cameras, already connectorized. This stuff is so thin I don’t know how much shielding it has? I should have mentioned there are other types, such as RG58 and others.

Chewingyu, I think he meant the point you made just before he made his comment.

No. I have a bunch of them on my computer some where. I don’t know if there as good as those? So if you want to be an expert that helps people you should let me know where you got them. Notice how I keep using the word expert in each post to stay on topic.

You need to make sure you’re getting the right type of lens mount. Find out what type you have. Is it a C-mount or CS-mount? You probably should buy a varifocal lens that will let you have some flexibility of zooming in and out. This way you will be able to adjust it to your liking.
