Need help with remote monitoring my DVR
fisherclive replied to rob36's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
What browser and operating system are you using? -
I have a model PE-100D AC PTZ camera, i'm trying to locate a manual for it. I called the manufacturer but they only support distributors, I bought this used, I don;t know who the distributor is. Anyone have a manual that you would be willing to email me, or do you know a distributor for this camera? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I have a ICR DVR 816e, I am trying to reset the password to login to the unit. I found a manual online, but it doesn't say how to overwrite the code. I called ICR( I C Realtime),but got no help as i'm not a dealer. Anyone know how to default this unit? Thanks, Clive

They have a tech support number on the website-or they used to anyway. If it's not there PM me and I will give it to you

DVR compatible with Mac and iPad viewing

Check out Zmodo DVR's, I have installed several in the past month, they work great, and are very inexpensive($170.00) for a 4ch 500GB, remote viewable, iPhone compatible. Supports DDNS or static ip as well. -
I have started using Zmodo DVR's, they have an iPhone app that works very well, you can use DDNS or static ip, works on 3g or wifi.

sounds like ir reflection to me, i've had this problem with domes before. try using a good quality dome with a very low lux rating or use bullet style cameras

thanks for the replies. I have used 1 pre-made cable, and run 3 different cables of my own from 3 different boxes of cable. I have also re-terminated the cable multiple times. i'm thinking its a power issue-but have never seen this problem on a short run like this. I have ordered a 1 amp dc power supply to see if that makes a difference.

Hello all, I have a ARM bullet style day/night camera mounted on the corner of my house near a light. I ran the cable along the gutter and doun into the basement and up thru the floor to the dvr-total length 75 to 90 feet. When I look at the camera screen on my TV, all I see is a black screen, I have hooked up the camera to the DVR directly and it works, I have re-ran the cable 3 times to the location-1 time using a different route-none of which works. I'm using rg59 with 18/2. I ran a pre-made cable-1 you would get with a q-see system, along the side of the house and laying on the ground and the camera works. I have tested all 3 cables I ran and all test good, I have a 12vdc 800ma power supply for power, I am reading 12.8 volts at the camera, polarity is right. I have continuity on my coax and very little resistance, I even fed 12vd thru the coax(with out the camera connected to it) and was able to read the voltage. I'm not sure what else to do? Any ideas as to to what could be causing this?

I have an everfocus EDSR1600(I know its old), I went ahead and paid for jaadu-an iphone app $24.99. It works well, I can connect to my mac or my windows based laptop with no problem and bring up my DVR thru the browser on the computer. Amazing app, well worth the money IMO.

I can view and control my desktop via logmein, from my laptop, but when I try to log in using my iphone and browser the page does not load after I enter my username and password. Any ideas? Does Jaadu really work?
