No, works fine here. Did you try to save first and then play?
-
Ok, thanks to the hosting services of Jasper here is another clip from the ICR pro 16. It is from a CD55 PTZ. File was converted to AVI so you guys can play through WMP, Winamp, etc.. I will be posting some more later from different locations and cameras. http://cctv.files4u.info/ICR_Kand_Front_PTZ.avi

Now that one looks good. Is that from the ICR DVR? What settings? Don't tell me your still up from last night..
-
Use the supplied MP4 to AVI converter bundled with client software if you want an AVI format. Res. is set to 352x240. Just converted and played in Winamp looks good.

Video looked great on my end. I had it full screen on my 20" LCD and no distortion at all. From what I saw those were medium settings Jasper.

Has anyone used a DVR with a projector?
-
Agreed, a very good PTZ for the $. Here is a screenshot of that camera:

School Guard Pro - Digital Surveillance System
kandcorp replied to russ's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
this kit is a bit poo on fps and spec imho. FPS is great for 32 Channels (240FPS). All their other DVR's 4, 8, 12 and 16 come 120, 240, 360, 480FPS...Thats anything but poo, thats the highest you can achieve from that setup. _________ As far as the company, very familiar with their PC based DVR systems (http://www.ibtvideosystems.com/DVSRhybrid.htm) They are Avermedia DVR cards. Very Good card but from what I remember a little overpriced for that particular DVR at least from them. -
Didnt know they had one. But if they do it basically means the DVR will accept both Analogue and IP cameras.

I'm trying to help him. What do you mean give him a break. Anyway, I have a bunch of video clips in AVI and MP4 format, low and high resolution. PM me your skype info so I can send them over your way, unless you have an FTP server up?
-
What is bad about that
-
I think they maybe over 10MB each. I will PM you later to get your Skype name. Probably the easiest way to do this. Unless you have an FTP server up?
-
The lighting will be very controlled. It will basically be in a home theater room; very dim with no windows. So I am guessing it will look bright enough.
-
Ok, those of you who are getting the green tint, What OS are you using?
-
No problems on my end (no green)..I will see what may be causing that and let you guys know. Isaac maybe you should post another video, something off that SDII cam. From what I have read the people that are getting the green are from the UK..correct. EZCCTV, Frosted UK right? I have a few recorded AVI clips from a few ICR Pro units. I need a host..anyone...Rory

Rory, just head down to the Poop Deck at SandyPort and get some conch chowder.

The foam doesn't work all the time though. When the camera board inside is moved to an abnormal position its hard to get that foam gasket to stay flush with the cover. Also, you run into catching a part of the foam on the video depending on lenses used.
-
I was thinking the same thing the other day, it does sound old. In some applications its not really "Closed Circuit" anymore . Yea, digital security or digital surveillance sounds good.
-
As I said before not really looking for specifics as of yet, just need hands on experiences with DVR/Projector setups.
-
The panasonic line is actually what I was reading about earlier. They are priced pretty well, and do have all the right input connections. You have used this model CollinR?
-
You could do it through a VGA output as well as the composite. Depending on the DVR of course.
-
What kind of details do you want. I just want to know if anyone has had any experience with a DVR running through an LCD projector for the video output. That's it...
