Yea after looking at the home page and other stories...It probably may not be true but I wouldnt doubt it.. And Rory, Are those groups or songs or what?? -
Ohh..OK 1/6" Is that fairly new?
-
Are you talking about http://www.microtekelectronics.com/wireless_101.html
-
Rory, was I incorrect in what I said in my reply or are you just reiterating the question for future replies.
-
I think one of the reasons is because they will get a better/furthur ZOOM since 1/4" is a smaller CCD. 1/3" CCD will give a wider FOV than 1/4" and I guess one of the main points of a PTZ is the ZOOOOM feature.

Recommendations for mobile DVR system?
kandcorp replied to brindlefly's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Try: http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=3728&highlight=servision+com http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=3162 Try http://www.servision.net/ They manufacture some great mobile DVR's. Operate mostly with SIF and QSIF compressions. Adjustable bit rates to support the full range of network bandwidths (9 KBits/sec to 1 MBits/sec, 5-30 fps live) Supports GPRS, CDMA. Check them out very stable machines. Mace Security Products OEM's one of their DVR's and has had good luck with it. Made and Designed in Israel -
Yea, but the new ones are ugly as hell. If I were going to go with an Isolating Cylinder engine, I'd probably get the 300 HEMI.

Well, CCD sensors used in cameras can have the HAD technology (Hole-Accumulation Diode) CCD Charge-Coupled Device. A type of silicon integrated circuit used to convert light into an electronic signal.

Wiring Suggestions for a quarter mile
kandcorp replied to pingsquare's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
How far would you run an RG59 cable for CCTV video transmission with no amps. If using an amp what brand and how many feet have you run in the past? Looking for about a 2000ft -
What camera would you choose if you had to use it for the rest of your life for every install and every application. Less than $500.00
-
I appreciate the response. They are going to be doing the install. I will only be providing the Equipment/Products. And yes it will be temporary and be moved from one site to the other. I am kind of leaning towards wireless but $8000.00 just for the TX/RX dont know if that will fly. Thanks

I have a client that is looking to put an eight channel system in a construction site with some looooooong runs. There is going to be video and power runs anywhere from 200Ft. to 2300Ft. max. What kind of suggestions do you recommend. All cable runs will be outside. Fibre is not an option. He may go to a wireless solution but I need to quote him both ways. Thanks for the help guys.
-
No, not yet but I can see what I can do. Problem is you can only have one user at a time viewing remotely. I will try to get one up in the next few days and let you guys know. Thanks
