Hello to all on the forum.
I work for an established company in the CCTV industry.
I've not been working for this company long but have a lot of experience with software, cisco wireless routers, networking, servers etc.
We deal in a wide variety of products but use a lot of dedicated micros stuff.
I've learned a lot from their literature and bits on the web - this site was the most knowledgeable and seems the best one to join.
I'm not too fussed about the front end stuff, my requirements revolve around telnet and serial access and how to revive old units, replacing drives and circuit boards.
Fairly familiar with the legacy DS2 products and am trying to get serial connectivity to old D4 units - just getting heiroglyphics on all baud rates ATM.
Any advice would be welcome and I hope I will be able to reciprocate in any way.
