I bought Dahua DH-IPC-HFW1320S IP camera on eBay, and I have problem setting up FTP upload of recordings to FTP server. Here are my settings: For remote directory I used "/", "/test", "test" or leave blank and results are always same. This log entries shows that motion detection was triggered For first I used ftp server on internet, later I started filezilla ftp server on my pc. This is log form FileZilla FTP server. So, communication is ok, camera can access and login to ftp server, but why that camera wont upload anything? I also tested NAS as storage, and everything that I got is that camera can create folder on NAS. What can be wrong here?

Hello, I had one IP camera that recorded to sd card and I was able to watch using web browser. From now I have to run a bit complex project. I want to setup a virtual machine on my vmware esxi server and start one application to record streams from 4 IP cameras (2 hikvision, one vivotek and intellinet). - does program need to encode video, or video stream can be simply recorded because its digital and in mjpg or H264? - how much resources I need for this (ram and cpu)? - Please suggest me application that can perform motion detection from IP cameras from different manufacturers. It's not important is it free or paid, and does it run on linux or windows. - what you think about setting up FTP server and configuring cameras to upload videos when motion detection event occurs. I hope that there is no needed to give 6GB of ram and 3 cores to record from 3 hd and one sd IP camera... I'm limited with resources

Hello, Is possible to confugure geovision to use proxy server on lan for sending email alerts? I found some programs that may enable applications without proxy support to use proxy server, but geovision is too good to use that

Is possible to run geovision as system service. I want to geovision work when user is not logged on. I found one program that helped me to start geovision as service. It basically works, but when I log on and want to see geovision's interface I have to "kill process tree" and after that start geovision manually.

Hello, I buy this old DSR for low price. DVR work, but it is in Deutsch language so I don't know how to configure it. When I connect it to my computer using IEEE 1934 interface windows vista doesn't have driver. I wanted to setup network, but I don't know how to use it. Device reply ping but i don't know how to access device from lan. I need to install English language and user manual (or something like this)... I don't found anything on Internet about this except this one discussion about hdd on this forum. Thanks anyway
