Black case Telexper 16ch DVR -- WinXP Embedded DOM
gniroland posted a topic in General Digital Discussion
Hello, How does one fix a corrupted file in a WinXP Embedded DOM black Telexper DVR? Is there a way to get the image file and use Norton Ghost to reburn it? The Windows Repair utilize does not help. Thanks, GniRoland -
You are correct. However, I do have a couple pro models (not ii) with 500GB and converters working in a stable fashion for the past 2 weeks. Version 5.73 and 5.67. No lockups, no missing HDD message after power cycling. No problems found whatsoever...
-
Thanks, so, you're telling me the latest firmware versions for the pro and pro ii's will support let's say... 500GB SATA/PATA IDE HDDs?
-
Can you be more specific about the firmware versions and hard drives supported with each?
-
CCTV Suppliers, what are the makes and models of those hard drives you are using? I assume they are all PATA IDE hard drives.

So far the older pro models are working w/o problems with a 12VDC 6.6A PSU and the pro ii's fail. We got our hands on a 12VDC 7.5A PSU and hooked it up to a pro ii and it detected and formatted a 500GB SATA + converter. After a few minutes, we power cycled the DVR and now it no longer detects the drive. Argh! Thoughts anyone?

Where can I order this part?

We've been working with GE StoreSafe pro and pro ii's with 500GB SATA HDDs and PATA IDE converters. The pro model seems to hold stable w/o NO HDD FOUND message that the pro ii's show after some power cycles. Both DVRs are using a 12VDC 6.6A PSU. Could it be the pro ii is not getting enough power/current? Both DVRs have latest firmwares available from the GE Support site (5.73, 6.32).

4111 is the password used to make the DVR reset to default settings. Try using 3444 to gain full menu access. ~Roland -
Hello, I have a couple Integral DVX500 16ch DVRs that have failing hard drives. I do not have a restore disc and Pelco will not provide any. Does anyone here know where I can obtain one to restore these DVRs with EPoX EP-4GMI or EP-4PGM2I? Thanks Roland
